Chapter 2

As Elijah and Nicholas came up to their packhouse, a path had been made for them. They quickly rushed into the hospital wing of the packhouse a bed already prepared for their arrival. Elijah laid down his brothers mate on the bed and stepped back watching how his brother winced every time one of his mate's injuries was treated.

"Come on Nick, get some rest I'll come get you when they've finished treating him," said Elijah as he gestured towards the door.

"Any change in his condition I want to be the first to know" replied Nicholas as his eyes darted between the door and his mate unwilling to leave his side.

Eventually, the managed to leave the man alone. Nicholas went to his room to clear space for his mate. It was the only thing he could do to keep his mind of his mate in the hospital bed. He was sure most of his clothes would fit him they were more or less the same size in height but his mate needed to put on weight. It saddened him that he had to find his mate so weak and vulnerable. Nicholas wanted to know his mate's name and his story.

A few hours later Nicholas was called back to the hospital. He hurried there not wanting to leave his mate in his time of need. He approached cautiously before sitting in the chair that was left for him beside his mate's bed. He reached out a hand and laced his fingers with that of his mates sighing contently at the shocks of the mate bond. Suddenly without warning his mate opened his eyes groaning at the pain even though he was heavily medicated.

Greyson opened his eyes to a pleasant shocking sensation going through him from his right hand. His eyes darted around the room before they landed on a small man sitting next to the bed he was currently lying on. His eyes then travelled to their connected hands and realised the shocks were coming from him. 'Mate' Greyson's inner wolf spoke for the first time in two months. As their eyes connected it was as if they were the only beings on earth. Greyson's mate had soft brown hair and misty green eyes.

"What is your name, I'm Greyson" Croaked Greyson his voice short and scratchy.

"My name is Nicholas but you can call me Nick" replied Nicholas as he reached for a cup of water for his mate. Greyson whined at the loss of contact when their hands disconnected.

"Where am I" spoke Greyson after he drank some of the water Nicholas gave him.

"You're at the Frostfang pack," Said Nicholas in a gentle way as he could.

"No no no I can't be here my alpha will be mad, I'll get a worse beating. What about your alpha. I'm on his lands he could kill me" Whispered Greyson as he started to hyperventilate, his breathing coming out in short rapid breaths as his heart rate continued to climb.

"Hey, now you're fine. My brother is the alpha and he welcomes you as my mate and I wouldn't worry about your alpha my brother is withholding an alliance until you are freed from their pack" hushed Nicholas as he climbed on the bed beside Greyson careful of the wires rubbing circles in his lower back.

Greyson eventually calmed down in his mates embrace taking in the calming scent. Greyson knew his mate was another omega but that didn't bother him because he knew that his mate accepted him and he had saved him from the clutches of his alpha. Soon enough they both fell asleep in each other's embrace both clinging onto each other for dear life.

"I don't care that he was your only omega. He is my brothers mate and if you want this alliance to go ahead you'll release Greyson from your pack" growled Elijah into the phone before slamming the receiver into its the holder on his desk.

"So it's true alpha Nicholas has found his mate" asked Elijah's beta with a smile on his face.

"Yes Brendon, would you like to go see him," Elijah grinned gesturing towards the door at which the beta eagerly nodded.

They both descended through their packhouse greeting everyone they saw. They soon came into the hospital wing. When a nurse saw them she pointed them in the right direction. They then came to the room Greyson was in. Standing next to the glass that allowed them to peer in the room without disturbing him. When they looked through the glass they were surprised to see Nicholas and Greyson sound asleep in each other's embrace.

"This is the cutest thing I've seen in a while," said Brendon as he took a snapshot on his phone, he'd knew would be key to them later in there Relationship.

"Indeed it is, it almost seems a shame to wake them up" replied Elijah as he watched them try to snuggle closer to each other in their sleep.

Elijah shook off his guilt and entered the room. Clearing his throat to see if he would have to shake them awake. Luckily he didn't as the both rose in fright at his intrusion before looking at the position and blushing profusely.

"Brother, the nurse said that Greyson can be moved to your room and that it's best to start with small meals until he gets used to eating normal portions" Spoke Elijah as he watched Greyson shrink into Nicholas at his presence. It saddened Elijah that many of the werewolves viewed omega's as useless when in fact they often had higher intelligence than warriors.

"Of course Elijah we'll move there as soon as he has been disconnected from the hospital machines" Replied Nicholas holding onto Greyson who was very close to panicking due to the alpha in the room.

Elijah called a nurse then left the room before walking away with Brendon.

"Dude that omega is terrified of you what happened to him," asked Brendon concern passing through his voice.

"He was a slave and punching bag to his pack. Nicholas found his alpha beating him to a pulp so I broke both the legs of the bastard and said the alliance will only go ahead if he's released from the pack" replied Elijah venomously a clear hatred for alpha Carter slowly settling.

"What happens when they both go into heat their both omega's which means they can both become pregnant," asked Brendon concerned for the effect it might have on the pack.

"I'm sure they'll be fine this has happened for a reason and if they both get pregnant that's all the better for the growth of the pack" replied Elijah as he knew they would likely both be pregnant by the end of the week as the first full moon after meeting your mate would send you into your first heat. The full moon only a week away.
