Chapter 7

Greyson awoke to the sound of the shower running and the soft hum of his mates voice. He stretched rubbing his eyes and yawning from tiredness. Then he suddenly remembers the last words Nicholas spoke to him just before sleep claimed him. I'm taking you on a date is what Greyson heard and at the thought, butterflies filled his stomach and anticipation settled in. He got up out of bed before wandering into the bathroom getting in the shower just as Nick started to get dry.

He washed thoroughly before turning off the water and getting out to brush his teeth and dry himself. He then wandered into the bedroom with only underwear on as he'd forgotten to pick up clothes. Greyson watched as Nicholas eyes clouded over in lust at his bearly concealed form. Greyson gasped as Nicholas pounced their lips interlocking. Greyson felt Nicholas hands on his hips and in response Greyson's hands found their way shifting through Nicholas' hair.

A knocked sounded at the door but Greyson was too consumed to care, that is until an overly cheery Brendon burst into the room shouting.

"Greyson you have a lot of customers backed up after I showed them both the paintings you did yesterday" exclaimed Brendon before his eyes landed on the two omega's standing in an embrace both with red faces and swollen lips.

"Thank you but we have plans I'll start when I get back and the first person to ask you will get theirs done first," said Greyson not wanting to move as the obvious bulge in his underwear would become visible.

"Did I interrupt something you two" spoke Brendon before slowly backing away and shutting the door.

"That puts a damper on the mood right" Nicholas chuckled as he stepped away from Greyson to continue getting dressed.

After that, they both got ready in relative silence just basking in the affection they had for one another.
Greyson then thought back to what going on a date entails. He heard they can be fun but a lot of his old packmates would come home disappointed. Greyson could tell that wouldn't be the case with their date.

"What do you have planned for us," asked Greyson once he was dressed a casual outfit of jeans and a checkered shirt.

"We're going three places the first I'll tell you now but you have to wait for the first place to be over before I tell you the next ones" answered Nicholas cryptically which caused a sharp intake of breath from Greyson.

"So where are we going first" questioned Greyson.

"To the cinema of course but first breakfast is the most important meal of the day and should be done now" responded Nicholas with a smile and Greyson could swear he saw mischief in Nicholas's eyes.

Greyson followed after Nicholas as he headed towards the dining hall and as they got closer they heard the telltale sign of chatter and people eating. When they opened the doors all heads snapped to them as they wandered through the area before taking their places next to Elijah. All their stares made Greyson cautious of the fact they might harm him like his old pack.

"Congratulations on your pregnancies" exclaimed the whole pack ecstatic by the news there alpha had relayed only moments ago.

"Thank you," Nicholas said smiling in gratitude. The pack's attitude helped Greyson calm down or it might have been Nicholas' hand resting on his thigh.

"Greyson I'm Charlie the gamma. I would like a portrait of my family to please" asked the gamma sitting up the table with them asked.

"I'm sorry I have plans today with Nicholas I'd be happy to paint you tomorrow if that wouldn't inconvenience you" requested Greyson timidly thinking his refusal could earn punishment.

"That's quite alright, I'll make a list of all those wanting portraits and put them in order" Spoke Charlie his thoughts going protective as the ever-present scent of a wolf with child permeated the air. It was a present scent that made every wolf want to protect the two omegas.

The rest of breakfast passed with the delta introducing himself as Freddie and a few of the she-wolves also expecting said hello to them. The three she-wolves called Bella, Aggie and Rachel. Greyson found this a comfort as the pack was excepting him as one of their own.

After breakfast was done Greyson followed Nicholas as his hand had been taken by the other. They walked toward a garage and opened the door before Nicholas pressed a car key and it rolled over. They got into the car and drove off towards the complex on pack lands.

When they got to their destination Greyson eyed the magnificent structure. It was a cinema connected to a shopping centre and it looked as though amusements were being set up. Greyson pouted when he heard Nicholas chuckle at his reaction before Nicholas kissed Greyson's forehead.

They both got out of the car and Nicholas ushered Greyson towards the entrance. Once they got inside they joined the queue for an action movie.

"Hello, there how may I help you" spoke the saleswoman behind the desk.

"Hi, there can I have two tickets for the next screening of this movie a medium bucket of popcorn and two small Fanta's" requested Nicholas before they walked to the screen.

It took about ten minutes before the movie started. Greyson was so riveted in the movie he didn't notice Nicholas watching his reactions intently. In Greyson's opinion, the movie they were watching was a masterpiece. This might be the only movie he's ever seen it captured his attention. An hour and fourth five minutes later the movie ended and Greyson turned to Nicholas expectantly to see if he would tell him where they were going.

"Where are we going now," asked Greyson impatiently as he hated surprises.

"We're going to get you some clothes of your own" explained Nicholas leading Greyson towards the shopping centre.

"Why I like wearing yours" whined Greyson.

"If your good I'll get you a surprise" bargained Nicholas at which Greyson stuck out his tongue.

Greyson then followed Nicholas into the shopping centre almost overwhelmed by the number of humans and the number of stores. Greyson felt Nicholas place a hand over his shoulder and the action calmed his trepidation. They wandered through the shopping centre stopping in a clothes store, a phone store and a book store. They laughed and conversed through it enjoying their time together.

After they finished their shopping they placed everything in the car before Nicholas pulled Greyson towards the now functional amusements. They wandered around playing games. Nicholas won Greyson a stuffed dolphin and Greyson won Nicholas a stuffed polar bear.

"There's one last thing, this way," said Nicholas excitedly leading the way.

Grayson found this amusing as he followed his mate to the Ferris wheel. They got a tram and the wheel spun slowly around. When the reached the top Greyson was surprised when Nicholas kissed him hard and passionately before pecking his forehead and sitting next to him in a hugging position.

When the Ferris wheel stopped they made their way back to the packhouse exhausted and content. Finally, they reached the house. They ate before taking the bags to their room emptying them and putting them away before climbing into bed.

"I had fun, I love you mi amour"
Greyson said as he pressed a chaste kiss on Nicholas's lips.

"I love you to my love" Nicholas replied pressing his lips to Greyson's mark. They fell into a peaceful silence before sleep claimed them.

"Report" ordered Elijah concern his most prevalent emotion.

"It was the cutest date I've ever seen, the went to the cinema, shopping and a fair. They even kissed on the Ferris wheel it was perfect" said Brendon dreamily he hoped to do even better with his mate one day.

"Good but dis you sense any threats," asked Elijah.

"No sir all is well but constant guard when weaker pack members are out might not be a bad idea" explained Brendon.

"Very well, good work that will be all" Spoke Elijah, Brendon bowed before leaving the room.

Elijah chuckled as he recalled their father telling himself and Nicholas about how he took their mother to an amusement park for their first date and they shared a kiss on the Ferris wheel. It looks like Apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
