Chapter 10

Both the omegas could hardly contain their excitement as they got ready to head over to the infirmary after breakfast. During breakfast, their restless excitement was rubbing off on the pack as the mood improved more the longer they ate. With Elijah at the head of the table with his mate who was finally marked and mated much to Elijah's beasts satisfaction.

When Nicholas and Greyson had finished eating they practically teleported to the medical wing with the speed in which they got there. Nicholas walked over to the receptionist of the hospital wing. She smiled at them as they approached and nodded her head towards the pack doctor who was waiting for them. They hurried over to the doctor and she led them to the ultrasound room.

"Now you'll have to go one at a time cause there's only one machine now who's first," said the doctor.

"You can go first Nick I'll wait" spoke Greyson.

"Are sure Grey?" asked Nicholas to which Greyson nodded.

"Okay then Nicholas please lie down and raise your shirt," the doctor said pulling out the jell squirting it on His stomach and then moving the wand over the small bump present.

Greyson and Nicholas waited with bated breath for anything that could be heard. Then suddenly a soft thump started. Bump, bump bump. Tears prick the corners of Nicholas's eyes as Greyson let his tears of joy flow freely.

"I am happy to report there is a single heartbeat congratulations on the singleton" spoke the doctor beaming with a smile.

"Congratulations love," said Greyson planting a gentle kiss on Nicholas's forehead.

Nicholas then wiped the jell off and pulled down his shirt switch places with Greyson as he lay on the bed and raised his own shirt. The doctor squirted more jell onto Greyson's small extended belly. She then moved the wand around and tiny beeps filled the air.

"I am happy to declare you are having twins," she told Greyson. His eyes walking with fresh tears of joy.

"Three were having three pups, I love you mi amore" spoke Nicolas as he crashed his lips onto Greyson's in pure joy.

"I hate to interrupt but would you like pictures," asked the doctor giggling lightly at their infectious happiness.

"Yes, we would" stated Greyson the most confident phrase he's said to another pack member.

"Now, here are your pictures and I'll see you in three months to find out the genders" ushered the doctor handing them the images and waving as they went on their way.

They first decided to head to the alphas office to tell Elijah of their news. Nicholas knocked on the door to his brother's office but got no reply which was odd. He gently pushed the door open peeking inside in search of his brother. He wished he hadn't opened the door when he'd spotted Elijah.

"Brother what are you doing here" Elijah panted with effort struggling to gain his composer at the compromising position his brother had caught him in.

"We just came to tell you we are having three pups. I'll let you get back to you alone time now" Nicholas stammered closing the door hurriedly. He then led Greyson to their room.

"What was that about Nick," Greyson asked when the door to the room had closed.

"Oh just Elijah and his mate getting familiar, if you know what I mean" responded Nicholas rubbing the back of his head nervously.

"Oh my god, that's hilarious. You both aren't living that down" laughed Greyson clutching his side's.

They then settled into their routine of working. Nicholas working on finances and profits of the resort and Greyson finishing a commissioned painting. After their work, they went to training delivering the good news to Brendon who then went and got copies of the ultrasound for his scrapbook.

Elijah's face held a blush as he finished mating with his mate Jasmine. Elijah thought this was karma for the number of times he'd walked in on the omegas.

"Are you alright Eli?" asked Jasmine using her nickname for her mate. Elijah smiled at the name.

"Yes I'm ok just embarrassed but I suppose this is karma for the Times I interrupted them" responded Elijah laughing lightly.

Their conversation was interrupted as a knock sounded at the door. It sounded frantic which cause them to look at each other before Elijah gave permission for the wolf to enter. When the door open it revealed Freddie the delta clutching an envelope in his hand.

"Alpha we have a situation, there was a rouge messenger caught at the western border. He's in holding but he asked for this to be delivered to the alpha as it was his mission from the rouge alpha" spoke Freddie handing the letter to Elijah who opened it as soon as it reached his fingers.

Dear Alpha Elijah

"I hear your keeping two omega's all to yourself and letting them mate with each other. It's such a waste omega's in heat can be breeding machines. I'm coming for them when they've birthed the weak offspring they are currently carrying. Be ready I will get what I want by any means necessary"

Elijah read the letter aloud so Jasmine and Freddie could listen to what the letter had written on it. Jasmine was shaking in fear and Both the alpha and delta were vibrating with rage.

"Tell Brendon to meet me in the holding cells in five minutes" growled Elijah. He then placed a kiss on Jasmine's head before rushing towards the cells.

When he got there Brendon was already waiting outside. Elijah handed him the letter before pushing the door to the cells open. Brendon followed him their combined anger making the five wolves in the cells whimper in fear. When they came across the cell with the newly discovered rouge in Elijah was confused at his scent it was the scent of a pack wolf, not a rouge.

"Who are you and what is your purpose here" snarled Elijah his steely gaze watching as the man averted his eyes and bared his neck in submission.

"I am Ian Rainway I am from a pack west of here which was destroyed by rouges. I was given the letter and told to deliver it or be killed like my pack mates. Some of whom are in hiding and I didn't want the rouges to find them" explained Ian carefully.

Now that Elijah knew the man was not a threat some of his anger dissipated.

"Do you know why the rouges went after your pack?" asked Elijah his tone slightly friendlier.

"All I know is my alpha received a letter saying the rouges wanted omega's and since my pack had three whom were treated exceptionally in pack standards" responded Ian he had rubbing through his brown hair as his hazel eyes looked concentrated.

A pit of dread settled in Elijah's stomach at this information. The rouges were purposely targeting packs with omega's to capture and use as breeding machines.

"Oh and another thing stop hiding your scent" spoke Elijah opening the door. As soon as Ian stopped hiding his scent Brendon perked up.

"Mate" uttered Brendon shocked his arms darting out and grabbing the man.

"Yes beta I am your mate" replied Ian joyfully happy to finally find the missing part of his soul.

"We must prepare and strengthen the pack. Do not tell Nicholas and Greyson until they have birthed their pups I do not want them stressed" commanded Elijah.

"Yes alpha" Brendon and Ian spoke. They then left the cells. A short joining ceremony was held for Ian as the pack went on high alert.
