Chapter 14

Greyson awoke with a start as a knock sounded at their bedroom door. He got up making sure he had underwear on before walking to the door. He eventually got to the door after checking the pups. When he opened the door Brendon was there with a camera. Greyson grumbled under him breathe at the new scents around there him before allowing Brendon in. As soon a Brendon was in the room his camera found the three sleeping newborns.

"Brendon what do we owe the pleasure so early in the morning" Greyson yawned whilst carefully watching his pups interact with Brendon.

"I'm here to inform you that the alpha requires both you and Nicholas as well as your pups in the ballroom an hour after breakfast" replied Brendon. The beta was reaching down to touch one of the pups but thought better of it before retracting his hands.

"we'll see you then, hopefully, we won't be as protective," said Greyson apologetically for growling at the beta when he almost touched one of the pups.

"your fine doesn't worry about it it's normal for new parents to be protective, I'll see you both at breakfast" responded Brendon before he left the room as Nicholas stirred awake.

Greyson watched as Nicholas blinked his eyes open fighting the fog of sleep that was undoubtedly pulling at him to sleep again with the countless times they had been awakened during the night to tend to the pups needs. As if sensing his unwillingness to rise Alexa started crying followed by Elena and the Hunter. On maternal instinct alone Nicholas sat bolt upright as wide and scanning for danger before relaxing as no threat was present. Nevertheless, Nicholas got out of bed and picked up Hunter and Elena holding them both to his nipples as Greyson held Alexa to him. All three pups then gorged themselves on milk, when they were full the two omegas burped changed and clothed their three pups.

"Did Brendon come in just before I woke up?" asked Nicholas whilst he got dressed before putting on his baby carrier.

"yeah he did, he wanted to get some pictures for his scrapbook and he said that Elijah wanted to see all five of us in the ballroom an hour after breakfast" replied Greyson after getting his own clothes on and fasting two baby carriers to himself with Nicholas' help with the one on his back.

"oh breakfast I'm starved shall we get going. and when is Brendon going to let us look at that scrapbook I mean how long has he been working on it" exclaimed Nicholas Sarcastically before they left their room and headed down the hall towards the dining room.

"Hey, Nick why are there so many new scents here it's putting me on edge," Greyson asked into Nicholas' mind encase anyone was listening.

"no doubt my brother will explain when we answer his summonses but try to bear with it, for now, my love," Nicholas thought back.

After their brief thought conversation, they continued their way to the dining room. when they arrived every head at the table turned towards them. A quiet growl from both omegas and a slightly louder one from Elijah had everyone minding their own business. Greyson and Nicolas were then free to sit at the table.

"Everyone we have an announcement to make, we'd like you to welcome our son Hunter and our two daughters Alexa and Elena" Nicholas announced before he sat next to Greyson at the table. A huge round of quite an applause worked its way through the dining room until everyone settled down enough to have their meals presented before they were promptly eaten.

Breakfast went by without any hiccups other than both omega's being extremely protective of their newborn young it would take a week or two before they'd be comfortable enough to allow others to hold their pups. After breakfast was finished and the hour had run down, Nicholas led his mate to the ballroom where several unfamiliar scents assaulted his nose his hackles rising in preparation to defend as he felt Greyson push into him a low growl rumbling through his mate's chest. They were soon standing back to back being careful of Elena as she was on Greyson's back.
