Chapter 5

Nicholas stretched out after his brother left the room letting the covers fall from his body walking towards the shower. Both Nicholas and Greyson showered together before getting dressed and stripping the bed sheets and putting fresh ones on and then leaving the room to meet the alpha in his office. Nicholas brought his computer and headset with them along with his notebook. Nicholas knocked on the door to his brother's office and entered when told to come in.

"Good morning alpha" Spoke Greyson as Nicholas lead him towards a small tidy desk at the other end of the room.

"Good morning to you as well Greyson I'm glad your feeling more comfortable," Said Elijah noticing how Greyson seemed less fearful of him.

Nicholas sat down at his desk and opened his computer putting on his headset and furiously typing away. Nicholas slightly broke his concentration when Greyson sat in his lap snuggling closer to him. Nicholas placed a kiss on Greyson's forehead before getting back to work.
A knock sounded at the door causing Greyson to jolt in surprise out of the comfortable silence that had settled over them.

"Come in" Elijah called roughly and waited for the door to open.

"You requested food son," Said a She-wolf placing a tray of food on the alphas desk.

"Thank you mom," Said Elijah nodding in thanks towards his mother.

"Nicholas are you going to introduce me to your mate," Said his mother.

"Yes mom this is Greyson he's my mate" replied Nicholas his eyes shining with love looking at his mate.

"Ah sweety call me Casey, it's a pleasure to meet you. You'll meet my husband at dinner later" Squealed Casey as before leaving the room leaving the proper greetings for later in the day.

The three males then ate the food provided for them in comfortable silence. After the food was finished Nicholas knuckled down doing his job sorting through pack expenses and the resort earnings. Listening to the branch chiefs of the resort complain to him about the finance which he diffused easily.

"Greyson do you have any special skills that you'd like to work on" Spoke Elijah after half an hour of work.

"I'm not sure but I'd like to pursue portrait art" responded Greyson looking at the blank canvas in the room.

"Well then why not show me your skills and when you're done we can all go for a run before dinner," said Elijah which caused Greyson to hurry towards the canvas.

"Yes alpha" confirmed Greyson sitting on the stool next to the canvas.

Greyson sketched out a quick outline of his mate and new alpha before slowly filling the canvas with the paint. He lost himself in the process the paintbrush gliding smoothly on the canvas. Lifting his eyes every now and again to survey his subjects. He soon finished his work rubbing his arm along his forehead wiping away the sweat.

"Wow it's magnificent" breathed Nicholas as he walked up behind Greyson as he finished.

Greyson beamed at Nicholas praise watching as Nicholas's eyes held awe and pride. Greyson tensed as Alpha Elijah came to inspect the painting he'd made.

"You are quite skilled this is beautiful, the composition and shade of the colours exquisite" praised Alpha Elijah admiring the painting.

"Thank you, Nick and Alpha Elijah" replied Greyson as he preened under the encouragement.

"I want to officially make you the packs' portrait artist to sketch at pack trials and paint family's when requested" commanded Elijah his voice giving new meaning to the direction of Greyson life.

"Thank you alpha I won't let you down I'd be honoured to perform this task for you" answered Greyson finally having a role to play in a pack.

"Now do you both want to go on a run before dinner," Said Elijah thinking back to finding them in wolf form earlier.

"Yes, we do" squealed Greyson and Nicholas in unison both ecstatic at the idea of running free.

"Well come on than race you outside" Chuckled Elijah before sprinting through the halls and down the stairs opening the back door and leaping into the garden transforming in midair into his black wolf and landing on his paws with his head held high.

Elijah then turned his wolfs head to see two smaller wolves running towards him one a greyish red and the other dark grey with a white patch between his eyes. Elijah motioned towards the forest with his snout watching as the two omegas wagged their tails with tongues Lolling out of their mouths in excitement.

Elijah then led them through the trees keeping up the rear as he watched them chase each other with joyful abandon. His ears listening out for danger as he had smelled the scent of a wolf with child on both of them since they had entered his office. He wasn't going to break the news though he wanted them to find out themselves.

Elijah felt a tug at his tail looking down to see Nicholas and Greyson playing tug of war with it. He growled irritated before swatting his tail between them watching in amusement as their eyes followed the movement. He picked up a stick and Held onto one end and waved the other in front of their faces. And wagged his tail when they grabbed the other end started pulling. They played for a while before heading back to the packhouse happily exercised.

They shifted back to their human forms picking up clothes from the porch and putting them on.

"Boys come on inside dinners ready hurry now" yelled Casey from the door.

"Yes, mom was coming" shouted Elijah hurrying the omegas into the house. Ushering them into the dining hall with all the pack members.

"Hello alpha" the pack called as Elijah took his seat at the table watching as Nicholas and Greyson took seats near him.

"Greetings have a good meal" replied Elijah taking the first bite of his dinner.

"Greyson dear this is my husband James" spoke Casey gesturing to Elijah's father.

"It's nice to meet you sir" responded Greyson shyly.

"Now no need for formalities just call me James was family now you being my son Nicholas' mate," Said James.

After the pleasantries were dispensed with everyone got back to eating. Utensils crashing on plates as the pack ate their meal. After the meal was more or less finished Elijah notices both Nicholas and Greyson looking pale as they both rushed towards the sink and threw up their dinner.

"What's happening" whimpered Nicholas as Elijah watched on torn between helping and letting them discover.

"I'm not sure to let's get you both to the hospital," said Elijah as he picked up both omegas and carried them to the hospital.

"You'll make a great mate on day brother" Spoke Nicholas clutching on to Greyson as a form of comfort for them both.
