Chapter 3

Greyson walked through the packhouse following Nicholas towards what would become their room. After the unpleasant experience of having all those wires removed he couldn't wait to get to know his mate better and discuss what their mating arrangements would be considering he was sure both of them would go into heat at the full moon. It wasn't long until they entered Nicholas' room. A double bed in the centre with deep red covers and a white throw over. A wardrobe in both corners of the room and a dresser with a lamp on beside the bed. A door to the left that led to a bathroom and a window above the bed.

"I hope you like it but we can change it if you don't" whispered Nicholas rubbing the back of his head nervous as to what Greyson thought of his room.

"I love it, can I go shower and change and then I need to talk to you," said Greyson remembering he was recently beaten. And before that he hadn't had time to stop and bathe in five days.

"Of course, here's a towel and a change of clothes, there's soap already in there" responded Nicholas handing clothes and a towel to Greyson and ushering him towards the bathroom.

"Thank you I won't be long," said Greyson as he closed the door behind him and ran the shower. Taking all his clothes off and jumping in the shower washing all the dirt grime and dried blood of his skin. Lathering himself with soap wincing at the fresh cuts on his skin from the beta a beating him earlier the in the morning. He then ran soap through his dark blond hair before rinsing thoroughly and turning off the water. He then dried himself and put on the clothes Nicholas provided for him on. He then exited the bathroom to see his mate curled up on the bed with a laptop and a chequebook with a headset on.

"Ah, I asked for food to be brought up for us" Spoke Nicholas as he spotted Greyson's approach stopping what he was doing.

"What are you doing" asked Greyson as he sat on the bed looking at the papers spread along the bed.

"Pack finances, the money needed for food, clothes, training equipment and along with other excursions the pack takes" replied Nicholas taking off his headset and placing his laptop on the dresser and placing the paper on the laptop.

"Why I thought the higher-ups did that" choired Greyson as a knock sounded at the door and Nicholas answered with a smile taking the food from the she-wolf thanking her and bringing the food into the room putting the tray of beans on toast, fruit bowls and orange juice between them.

"No it's my job in the pack, I graduated valedictorian of my class" Replied Nicholas dividing the food between them.

"Who cooks and cleans" questioned Greyson confused as to how this pack operated.

"We take turns in every day running of the packhouse and clean our own mess. Oh and feel free to eat and what did you want to talk about" answered Nicholas as he pushed a plate towards Greyson.

"Well I wanted to talk to you about mating" whispered Greyson poking at the beans on toast eating a small bite.

"Yeah I was wondering about that too, what do you think we should do" replied Nicholas slightly struggling to swallow the food he had shovelled in his mouth.

"I suppose we could take turns being the bottom and top. I don't mind if you don't" said Greyson a blush spreading over his cheeks.

"Yeah that works for me" answered Nicholas a blush spreading over his face too, this sounded like the best option going forward.

They then continued to eat in silence neither wanting to break the comfortable silence which had settled over them as they continued to eat. Both of them being flustered after their previous conversation was starting to become aroused.

Nicholas placed the tray on the floor the food now eaten. He noticed a hooded look in Greyson eyes as there arousal circulated through the room. Slowly but surely they crept closer to one another. They tentatively reached for each other arms wrapping around each other in an embrace before resting their heads against each other. Nicholas then reached forward placing his lips upon Greyson's in a slow kiss.

The kiss started slow and tentative but when they felt sure the kiss deepened and it started to become wild and uncontrollable but neither battled for dominance they just felt. Nicholas ran his hands through Greyson's hair as Greyson ran his hands down Nicholas' chest. Before it got heated however a knock sounded at the door before Elijah walked in. Nicholas and Greyson quickly pulled apart.

"Brother why are you here" Nicholas panted out of breath from his recent activities.

"I came to see if Greyson had eaten and getting on ok," asked Elijah rubbing the back of his head.

"Yes we've eaten, we've had beans on toast, fruit and orange juice" answered Nicholas connecting his hand to Greyson's rubbing circles to calm the other omega.

"Well I'm sorry for interrupting, Greyson's introduction to the pack is three days from now," said Elijah clearly uncomfortable with the fact both the other males were very clearly aroused and would have gotten further if he hadn't interrupted.

"Thank you, brother, I'll speak with you discussing finances for the upcoming gala in two weeks" replied Nicholas talking in a professional manner to avoid embarrassment. After which Elijah left the room.

Elijah closed the door to his brother's bedroom and sighed. He then made his way to his office shaking his head to get rid of the mental image of his brother and Greyson's display of affection.
When he made it to his office he was unsurprised to see Brendon there.

"Did you interrupt something interesting" Spoke Brendon as Elijah sat down at his desk and let out a long sigh.

"They were getting acquainted and I disturbed them" replied Elijah shaking his head to rid himself of the images.

"In other news, Alpha Carter agreed to release Greyson from his pack on the condition he would get a chance to look for his mate here in this pack," Said Brendon looking over Greyson's file before putting it on his alphas desk.

"Tell him he'll be invited to the gala he can see if his mate is here. Now goodnight" Spoke Elijah rubbing his eyes and leaving his office heading towards his room.
