Chapter 17

"CHIEF CAN YOU ANSWER THE PHONE?!" 

I was running around the house getting ready to shoot my new and first music video. It was a panic. There were clothes scattered everywhere, Chief running around the house trying to help and me running around whilst brushing my hair and my teeth at the same time. Once I thought I finished I took a quick look in the mirror. (Photo at top)"Good enough" I whisper under my breath. I grab my bag , shove some accessories in it before leaving my room. I rush down the stairs give a quick hug to Chief before rushing out the door. Please don't be late. I think to myself as I check my watch to see only 5 minutes left. I run on the pavement as it gets harder because I have to dodge all the people walking. I start getting tired about 3 minutes of running. "I'm too lazy for this" I say as I stop running and walk. Anyway, I was in front of the building I needed to be at. I took one last look at my watch before entering the building. 

I took the elevator to the right floor and entered a room with lots of designers, actors, dancers and producers. Then the manager walks up to me and smiles. "Right on time, make your way to the dressing room" He says pointing to a door. I thank him and smile before walking towards the room regaining my breath. When I enter the room many stylists look at me before measuring a couple things. At one point they all whispered to each other before rushing of leaving me alone. I place my bag on the floor. Then the stylists burst into the room with different outfits. "Sorry for the wait miss, this is your first outfit" She smiles warmly at me before handing me the outfit and pushing me into a changing room. I change quickly since I feel pressured knowing there waiting outside ready for me to come out. I finally come out and they gaze at me. I can't read there expressions. Does it not look good on me? I think. But before I could think anything else they burst out into smiles and compliments. I thanked every single one of them and exited room going to the set I was suppose to be at. When I got there, there were other actors and equipment ready. I smile and walk up and they greet me.

I walk out the building I've spent the whole day in. Today was a lot of work, I think as I walk down the pavement. It's night time and the cold wind tickles my skin. The leaves falling from the trees get stuck in my hair and the clouds swirl above me. It's quiet. Expected on a Tuesday night at 12:00. My new music video was going to be posted at 6 o'clock but all that was on my mind was the comfy bed that awaits me at home. I hug myself to try and keep myself warm.I look across the street and see a figure walking. Then his eyes lift to see mine. And he..... freezes. I keep walking as he just stares at me before running away. I shrug it off and walk along. Then a certain scent drags me to a small shop that sells coffee. However, I don't smell coffee. Definitely not. I got dragged in by the smell of hot coco. I enter feeling the warmth embrace me in a warm hug. There was only 3 other customers sitting at the tables with cups of different drink. Even a woman with a laptop typing away with headphones stuck in her ears. I turn my attention to the till and walk up to order. "Hi, Welcome to StarBucks! How may I help you on this fine night?" A cheerful young girl asks. "Umm, What do you have on selection?" She thinks before smiling "Here's the menu, because I can't remember things." She says laughing before adding on "However, I suggest the Hot chocolate" I smile at her. "Then I'll take your word. One Hot Chocolate please" "Coming right up" She answers as she turns to the machines. I look around me. Humans have such a awesome life. I smile and look back to see the girl with the drink in her hand. "Here you go" I take it of her as I hand her the amount of money she need. She quickly hands me the change. "Must I say miss, You look pretty" I smile. "Your more pretty" I respond just like I do with Coral. I see a slight blush forming on her cheeks. "Nonsense" I remember a good way to keep contact with someone so I hand her a piece of paper with my number on. "Want to be friends?" She opens the note I gave her a smiles. "Sure! My names Minji" She says with energy and I respond "Mine's Ji-uen. I hope to see you around" We say our goodbye's and I take my leave. The coldness traps me in an icy prison but my hot chocolate in my hands keeps me warm. I sip my hot chocolate. The taste was heavenly. I start to drink more as I see my house come into view. Just at the sight, I begin to sprint towards my home.

I enter the house with a huff. Chief comes around the corner looking quiet sleepy. "Sorry Chief. Long days work" I say petting him on the head. I throw the empty Starbucks cup in the bin and head upstairs. Chief yawns. I motion him to go back to bed and he does as hes told. My room is still a mess. I sigh. I'll do it tomorrow. I get changed into some nice pajamas. The t-shirt of my pajams has a black tailed mermaid on it with browns hair. The writing above the mermaid says "I do believe in mermaids" The pajama bottoms are covered with black star fish. I get into bed and sleep welcomes me instantly. I smile as I drift of to sleep.
