Mermaid Tale (Bts ff)

Chapter 20

-Ji-uen POV-

I had just finished dance practice and the stylists were rushing around making sure everything was perfect for the interview I was going into. I sighed as I sat down on the chair ready for the makeup to cover up my natural look. They added blush, eye liner, mascara, a bit of eye shadow. It was "quite simple" they said but I felt like it was too much. But what do I know, I'm not even from here. I exited the changing rooms and entered a room they told me to wait in. I yawned as I looked around the room. It seemed to just look like a waiting are with books ,refreshments and the odd bit of clothing and make up. My hands searched through my bag and found my white, rounded glasses. I put them on the tip of my nose and picked up a book. A Untold Tale. My eyes scan the back of the book.

Description

A girl. Just a simple girl. Who had her life turned upside down by the War going on. Magic, love, secrets, tragedy. The War in her mind ended and she was a completely different girl. No longer Loud, No longer bubbly. No longer happy. Never spoke. Never made friends. Never smiled. No one asked her what was wrong. Not even her beloved friends from long ago. It was all lost due to the journey she went through. Permanent Scars have formed and they can't be healed. There too deep. But she hasn't told anyone. It was just one of those Tales that was left untold.

I looked at the cover again in interest. Sounds like a good read I say placing the book in the bag and taking my glasses off. I hear the door creak open and a woman with a clipboard appears. She sees me before giving me a small smile. "Nice to finally meet you IU, the interview is all ready for you" She says politely and I bow at her before leaving towards the main stage. 

My hands slightly shake as I go out onto the stage hearing clapping. I look towards the people who have shown up to watch and smile whilst bowing. I walk over to a chair and sit down putting some of my hair behind my ear. The Interview smiles at me and shakes my hand. "Would you like to introduce yourself?" She asked as I nod and look at the humans. "Hello everyone!! I'm IU and I am new to the K pop Industry, I hope to inspire all of you to make your dreams come true and too achieve all your goals!!" I wave as everyone claps and I smile in embarrassment. 

"So first question, What are your talents and why do you think they chose you too become there next big star?" The interview asked and I nodded listening carefully. "Well, I can sing, rap and dance. However, I thin singing in my main goal. And I truly don't understand  why they picked me. I must say I believe all the girls auditioning were so better than me" The interview nods at my reply. "I can personally see why they picked you" I small blush crept onto my cheeks when she said that.

"Next question, Do you have a name for your beloved fans you will gain?" She looks at her clipboard checking that it was the question she was supposed to ask. I sigh before thinking. I'm quite good at coming up with names on the spot. I finally after a few seconds a perfect name clicked in my head. "Uaenas" I say nodding my head. 

"Quite different" The interview looks to her clipboard writing something down. "What is your favourite food?" She says and I smile widely thinking off the different delicious human food I've tasted. "Hmm, probably Raw fish, Sweet Potato and Raw Liver" I think of the flavors that I had experience whilst eating it.  She looks at me and nods. "Sounds Nice" 

"Last question, What is your motto in life?" She looks at me curiously as I think of my whole entire life And the things no one shall know. "Never Give Up!" I say confidentially as the crowd starts clapping as screaming as I blush in embarrassment and try and laugh it off.

 "Well It was very nice to IU. I hope you become as successful as Bts one day since your such a lovely young girl"  I bow and take my leave whilst thinking. As successful as Bts? Who the heck are they? I pick up my bag from the seat I left it in and walked down the hallway. I took my phone out of my pocket and started looking at this app I had recently gotten since Minji suggested it. But before I could even click on it I accidentally knocked into someones chest making my self fall down, still clutching the phone tightly in my hand. I heard phones can break so I want to be careful.
