On the way to my new house my vision became a little bit blurry but I could still make out where I was going. I had been warned about this side affect about being a mermaid on land. As a mermaid, your eyes are used to being in water so when there not sometimes they can get a little blurry. It last for about 2 hours. The solution is buying a pair of these things called "glasses". After making my way across the streets, I found this shop that sells these "glasses". I picked out a couple pairs. Some of them were these:

Once I had purchased I put them on and it made my vision clear again. I must have looked really weird now because I was in a swimsuit and glasses. Anyway, It started to get less social and more quiet and only a few cars passed now and then. The pavement became smaller and me and Chief were the only ones on the pavement as far as I could see.But just as we turned the corner, I was met with the perfect house I picked out.
