Chapter 13

I walked down my driveway and stopped in front of the boy staring at my house. "Hi" I lazily said because I was getting a bit sleepy and I really needed my beauty sleep. He finally stopped looking into a different dimension and blinked a few times before realizing I had caught he outside my house. "Oh...Umm...Uhh sorry" He stuttered. He seemed really nervous all of a sudden. "Why are you nervous" I questioned as his eyes widened in surprise since I pointed it out. Were humans not meant to ask questions like that? Did I make a mistake? He responded "Nothing. Nothings wrong." He then whispered something about being nervous around girls which kinda made me laugh. "Would you like a tour of my house?" I immediately regretted what just came out of my mouth. Stupid. Humans don't just let someone inside their house. In our kingdom, no one cares and they let anyone into their house. There isn't really crimes in the ocean so it's fine. I was cursing myself when he hesitated before nodding. "That would be interesting. I've always been wondering what's inside this house. " He said with a bit of stuttering. I looked at him eagerly. "What do you mean?" I questioned as he sighed. "This house has been 'For Sale' ever since I first saw it. Which was 3 years ago. Finally someone bought it and I kinda spaced out at the thought. Ever since I saw it I've never seen a glance at what it beholds inside the doors." I 'hmm' as a response and start walking towards the door with him following behind.

"My names Jungkook by the way" I nod and smile at him as I respond. "My name is J-" I get interrupted when something comes out of my house. Chief runs up to me and I pat him on the head before looking back up at Jungkook. He looks a bit scared and on edge. "Do you not like him?" I say frowning and I look at Chief. "Wait. That's not it. It's just I've never seen a dog that big" "Oh" I sigh in relief at his answer. Then we finally reach the door and I hold the door open for him. "No, Ladies first" I roll my eyes. "How about....no" He looks at me before refusing to go in. "Jin has told me Ladies should always enter first and it is your house" He makes a point so I go in knowing this argument will just make me annoyed. I then begin my tour and I can already see the excitement in his eyes. 

-Time Skip-

I lead Jungkook out the building and he smiles at me. "Thanks umm what's your name again?" He asks "My nam-" I stop and smirk. "That's a secret" He looks at me and sighs. "I'll will find that secret of yours" I widen my eyes but don't make in noticable. "I hope you don't or humans will come hunt me and others down" I mutter so Jungkook can't hear. "HUH" He says as He couldn't make out what I said. I shake my head indicating it's nothing and shoo him away. "You know where to find me" I wave as I shut the door before he has a chance to answer. I'm so tired. I say as I make my way up the stairs to see Chief sleeping on the floor on the top step. Why do I even bother giving him a room. I carefully step over him and head to my room. I get ready for bed and tuck myself in. The cosy sheets embrace me but suddenly something pops up in my mind that I totally forgot about. I jolt awake. I'm not talented at all. Humans like my singing no matter what!
