---------------------

We were outside, late at night, wandering through the city. We landed in Taipei a few hours ago and while the others wanted to stay in the hotel, getting a good night sleep before tomorrow's show, Calum wanted to take a walk and I offered to go with him, just to clear my mind a bit.

I was getting quite a lot of hate on Instagram that basically forced me to disable my comments. People were still calling me ugly, fat, telling me to die and kill myself. Calum kept telling me I didn't deserve any of it.

Taipei was beautiful at night and it radiated New York vibes with all the high buildings and the huge billboards.

I had just uploaded the Australia tour diary and I was now officially avoiding every social media app that existed. Turning my phone completely off was the best way to deal with this kinda shit. To say I was terrified of the comments was an understatement, but Calum did his best to reassure me.

Our walk was relaxing and the fresh air could work miracles, so after an hour or so we made our way back to the hotel. Just before taking the left turn to the entry, I let go of Calum's hand.

Calum looked aside and I nodded to the fans waiting for our hotel. "You can hear 'em from a mile away," I said before giving him a smirk. "Right, of course. Can't they just give us one night for ourselves?" he said before taking a deep sigh and making his way to the entry.

There were three girls waiting, which wasn't that bad, but after the mobbing at the airport a week ago and after all the hate I'd been getting, I just really, really hated being around them.

Once they saw us coming from around the corner, they jumped up. Two of them seemed Asian, but the other girl looked very American or European, with long blonde hair and her face caked with makeup.

"Ohmygod, hi Calum! I love you!" they all started to say as they came close to us. Calum smiled back at them. "Hello," he said polite and I remained next to his side.

"How are Y'all? Pretty late, isn't it?" Calum casually said before eyeing aside, making sure I was okay. "I'm good, I'm good! Can I take a selfie?" one of the Asians asked and Calum nodded. "Yeah, of course," he said.

The blonde girl stared at me for a second before opening her mouth. "Excuse me, could you step aside? You're in her picture," she said with an annoyed tone and I raised my eyebrow. I was right about her not being Asian, maybe she moved here because she sounded a bit german to me.

Why be so rude?

I stepped aside without saying a word while the Asian girl took a selfie with Calum. "Thank you! I love you so much!" she squeaked before wrapping her arms around him and forcing him into a hug. Calum forced a smile and patted her on her back before letting go, having her friend take a moment with Calum.

I took a few steps towards the stairs, now a meter away from Calum. The blonde girl now standing next to me. I decided to flash her a smile, show her that I meant no harm. "Have you been waiting outside for long?" I asked, and she shrugged. "No.," she said dryly.

Okay.

"Do you live in Taipei?" I asked, trying to hold a conversation with her. "I do," she said. "That's cool! Cal and I walked through the streets and it's so beautiful here, you're lucky!" I told her and she shrugged.

"Didn't you guys break up?" she said, now clearly being bitchy. I raised my eyebrow. "What does that have to do with-" I started, but she jumped up, walking to Calum who had just finished taking a few pictures with the other girl.

He noticed something was up, raising his eyebrow at me, and I didn't really know how to respond to that. The blonde girl immediately went in for a hug and I rolled my eyes.

She grabbed her phone and held it up. "Can you kiss me on the cheek?" she asked Calum and Calum scratched the back of his head. "Eh - no, sorry. I don't do that," he said. No, you can't, he has a girlfriend, you bitch. What was up with fans thinking it's okay to kiss their favorite people just because they were single? Was that an OK to kiss them?

"Can I kiss you on the cheek?" she said when he kindly declined her question and I was about to beat this bitch up. Calum quickly gave me a look before shaking his head. "No, you can not." I could hear the irritation in his voice now. "Please? I've been waiting here for hours," she said, giving him puppy eyes that made me wanna gauge her eyes out.

"Sorry but no." he said, getting quite uncomfortable with the situation and so was I. "Let's just do a smiley one, though," he said and the girl nodded. Calum brought his face up to the girl as she took a few selfies with him, before she suddenly pressed her lips against his cheek, very close to his lips.

Calum immediately pulled back. "Dude, what the fuck!" Calum said, "I told you not to do that!" he snapped. I couldn't believe the girl actually did that, I knew some sossies were mad, but this?

"What the fuck is wrong with you people? You think it's okay to fucking kiss me out of nowhere? That is not okay! You guys send death threats to my gir- friends, you send the band hate, you fucking mob us, you harass us and call yourselves our fans? You guys are sick, fucking sick." he raised his voice and all I could do was stand there, trying my best not to kill the pretty blonde.

The girls didn't say anything, they just stood there. "I'm a fucking human being, I have feelings too. For some reason, you guys think I'm a fucking robot but I am not. When someone tells you they don't want you to kiss them, you don't go and fucking kiss them!"

"Cal-" I said and he looked up to me, before looking back at the blonde girl. "And I heard the way you talked to Elizabeth just now, why the fuck are you being such a bitch? She has been nothing but kind to everybody in this fandom and all she gets is hate. I sincerely hope you're happy with yourself. If I see you in the queue for the show, I'm making sure you're not getting in. Good fucking night." he said before walking past her, bumping her with his shoulder before grabbing my hand and walking inside the hotel.

"Are you okay? Cal?" I said as we stood in the elevator. His face was tense and I lifted my hand, putting it on his cheek. "People are sick," he muttered before walking to the hotel room. "Did she say something mean to you?" he said and I raised my eyebrow. "I thought you heard it?" I asked and he shook his head. "No, but the way she asked you to step aside and your face when you talked to her said enough," he said, opening the door.

"It's fine, she was just being a bitch. I fucking can't believe she did that." I said and Cal shook his head. "Me neither, what the fuck," he said before letting out a groan in frustration. I put my hand on his arm. "It's okay, Calum," I said and he sighed, pulling me in for a hug.

"I hate my job sometimes," he said.

"Me too," I answered before looking up at him.

"I'm sorry you had to see that, was I too hard on them?" he asked and I shook my head. "You had every right to snap like that, Cal. It isn't okay to kiss people without their consent." I said and he nodded, letting go of me and looking at me.

There was a question I was wanting to ask when we came back to our hotel before we got disturbed by the fans.

"Hey, do you - do you still wanna give me that ring?" I asked him and he looked up, immediately zen again. He nodded. "Yeah - Yeah, of course," he said, pulling it off his fingers and turning around, grabbing the necklace from the nightstand and lacing it through.

"Here," he said, and I lifted up my hair. "Can you?" I said and a smile formed on his face before he took a step closer, putting it on my neck and giving me a small kiss on my lips. "I love you so much," he whispered and I chuckled. "Love you too, please don't be upset about that girl. You couldn't know she was going to do that." I said and he nodded.

"I know, I just don't wanna feel anyone's lips but yours," he said, pulling me in for another.
