After a long ten hour flight from Australia to Japan, we had finally landed in Tokyo. Even though we fly first class, meaning we have extra legroom, it was nice to finally stretch my legs out and walk through the gate to the security.

It was my first time in Japan and I knew the boys absolutely loved it here, so I was excited to spend a few days in Tokyo and see what they were always on about. Calum told me on the plane he'd take me to some of his favorite places.

We got through security and went to pick up our bags and suitcases when one of the Japanese airport security guys walked up to us. "There are fans out there waiting for you. I thought I'd give you a heads up." he said, "We'll walk with you guys to the cab while your crew is still unpacking. Is that alright?" he asked and Luke nodded. "That'd be great, thank you," he said, smiling at the much smaller security guard.

I grabbed my suitcase and swung my backpack over my shoulder before following the others through the glass doors, and immediately we saw the fans coming up at us. Unfortunately, it wasn't just a few fans, there were a lot of them.

"Just stay behind me," Calum whispered in my ear and I nodded. I grabbed the handle of my suitcase a little tighter, took a deep breath and followed Calum, who was following the tall blonde, through the crowd.

The boys did their best to take pictures with fans and write something out for them and leaving some autographs here and there, some fans stopped Sierra to take pictures with her as well. Moving forward was hard, more fans kept coming and trying to get to the boys, making the distance between me and Calum bigger and bigger.

"Not again," I muttered. I hated getting mobbed by fans, it was the one thing I couldn't get used to nor wrap my head around. Why mob your idols?

"Calum," I said, in the hope to get his attention, but he couldn't hear me over the sound of the loud fans around him asking for pictures. Looking over my shoulder, I saw Ashton coming closer already, noticing the worried look on my face. Within a few seconds, he was walking next to me, his hand placed on the small of my back, reassuring me. "Just keep walking, try to get to the sides," he said before flashing me a soft smile, but a fan tapped him on the shoulder, making him turn back around.

I tried following Ashton's advice and go to the side, but fans who were still circling the boys pushed me out of the way, back in the crowd. They didn't mean to be this rough, or maybe they did. They all knew who I was. The stupid ex-girlfriend of Calum Hood who made him cry on stage.

Speaking about Calum - I couldn't see the tan man anywhere close, Ashton had disappeared as well and the only two people I did see were Michael and Luke. Michael was the one closest to me, making a selfie with a girl and writing something on her phone case. Slowly I made my way through the crowd towards him, being overwhelmed by all the people.

"Mike -," I said, my shaking hand grabbing his arm. He looked up from the sudden touch on his body and his eyes connected with mine. "Liz, are you okay?" he asked, seeing the tension on my face. "I need to get out of here," I whispered. My throat was closing up and I was afraid I might go into a panic attack.

"Move please! Out of the way!"

Someone was shouting from in front of us, although it was pointless compared to the screams that never seemed to stop.

"I've got you." Calum's lips suddenly brushed the shell of my ear as spoke, appearing out of nowhere and pulling me closer as he pushed past fans. "They won't hurt you. I've got you."

The way he handled the situation was actually decent, he wasn't rude to any of the fans but made it clear he wanted to go outside. Fans finally stepped out of the way, letting us through. Calum still hovered behind me as we made our way outside, where a large cab was waiting for us. He had one hand on my shoulder to let me know I was still here.

We gave our suitcases to the taxi driver and I immediately jumped in the car. He scrambled in beside me, pulling the door shut and muffling the screams. "Are you okay?" he asked me, a worried look on his face.

His hands cupped my face, his thumbs slowly rubbing against my cheeks.

I nodded at his words, trying to focus on him rather than the choking feeling. He smiled, pulling me into his side and kissing the top of my head. He hummed an unfamiliar tune softly, his hands running up and down my arms. Slowly, my breathing matched his, preventing a panic attack. "Sorry, love, if I knew the security talked about so many fans, I'd had taken another exit with you. I know how much you hate it," he whispered, pressing a kiss on my hand. The other boys and the two girls got in the car as well before finally driving away to the hotel.

Calum let out a deep sigh, his arm still around me, holding me close.

I kiss his shoulder, and pull back, smiling shyly at him.

"Sorry," I mumbled, my eyes on my hands now.

"You never need to apologize for that." He told me seriously, bringing my eyes back to him. "Never."

Calum and I sat in the back of the cab, giving us the idea of privacy, even though our friends were sitting in the same car.

I felt safe now that I was wrapped up in Calum's arms, a feeling I hadn't felt in a long, long time. Maybe we would be fine after all, I clearly started to trust him more and more every day.

"Want me to tell you where I'm going to take you in the next couple of days?" Calum asked, his large hand going through my hair. I nodded. Calum smiled a bit of me. "I'm bringing you to Happoen Garden and Ueno park, and we'll go to Borderless, it's a digital art museum, I know how much you love art," he started and I smiled at him.

He knew me too well.

"Can we go to that tower that looks like the Eiffel tower? I'm not sure what it's called." I asked and Calum chuckled. "Sure, we can go there too," he said and I smiled at him. "Good," I whispered before turning my face to the window to get a sneak peek of Tokyo.
