~~~~~~~~~~Mitch's POV~~~~~~~~~~
I turned on my phone and called the number Lydia had left me. I was laying down on the couch with a massive headache. I had just woken up and decided how to easily get us all to the hospital.
"Hello?" A soft voice answered the phone.
"Hello, Mrs Sosa," I answered.
"Oh, Mitchell! I wasn't expecting you to call so soon."
"Actually, I was wondering if you could help me with something..."
"Hmm... What is it dear?"
"I was wondering if you could help get the guys and me to the hospital."
"What happened?! I thought you all were fine from the kidnapping." She sounded extremely worried.
'Actually, We got stuck in one of the elevators yesterday and ended up having it fall down to the basement while we were in it." I didn't tell her that we were the reason it fell.
"My gods! We found that yesterday night and assumed that no one was in it when it fell. Me and Ivan will be right over sweetie, see you soon."
"Alright, Mrs Sosa, see you soon." I waited for her to hang up before getting up.
"Since when were you and my mom so buddy-buddy like?" Alex asked from where he was sleeping.
"Since around yesterday," I responded. "Wake up the others and tell them to change. Your parents will be here soon." I limped over to my room and quickly changed. I took out the contacts that I had in for the past few days. I grabbed the bandana off the bathroom counter and walked back to the main room. The others had gone to there rooms and haven't come back yet. I thought about hiding my ears and tail but went against my better judgement. "Ahh, fuck it. If they find out and kill me over it, so be it." I mumbled to myself. If my parents found out about me telling people about me being a werewolf, then they would just have to deal with it. A few minutes passed and I heard a knock at the door. I quickly tied my bandana on and made my way to the door.
"Hey, come on in," I said. Ivan, Lydia, and a little kid walked in. "The others are changing, but they'll be out soon." I shut the door and limped back over to the couch.
"How exactly did the elevator stop working in the first place?" Ivan asked.
"Probably because all the forces in the universe seem to have it out for me and the others. They're testing us to see how much shit we can handle. Maybe next the gods will send a plague or something down just to see if it will kill us," I responded. I actually had no idea what exactly happened, but I was too tired to give an actual answer.
The little boy laughed at my response. He jumped up onto the couch next to me and laid his head down on my lap. "What's your name?"
"Mitch."
"I'm Quinn. Alex's younger brother. What happened to you?"
"I fell."
Quinn laughed again. "You're really funny. Daddy? Is this the annoying b-word that you keep ranting about?"
I laughed as Ivan's cheeks turned bright red. "Don't worry about it, Sosa. I've called you much worse."
"How's that supposed to make me feel better?" Ivan scoffed.
"I didn't realize it was supposed to," I responded. Quinn laughed again, then he curled up and fell asleep. "Huh, weird kid," I mumbled.
"Sorry about him," Lydia said. "He's not used to waking up this early."
