I woke up at 5 am a week later. I quickly dressed in sweatpants and a T-shirt. I hid my ears and tail and tied my bandana around my eyes. I tied my black hoodie around my waist, grabbed my phone, and headed out. Everyone else was asleep, so leaving was easy. I walked through the empty hall to the staircase. I walked down to the bottom floor and went to the shopping district. I wandered around for a few hours before it was time to meet up with my parents. I went to the cafe five minutes early to wait for their arrival. They came two minutes before 9. They both glared at me and sat down at my table.

"Looks like the brat is early for once," Father muttered. His brown hair was neatly brushed and his hazel eyes glared holes into me. I noticed that Luna didn't really look like either of them. Luna had bright green eyes and honey brown hair. 

"Here's what we want you to do." Mother started off. "Today or tomorrow, we want you to take the car back home and grab your father's briefcase from his study." She placed the car keys on the table. "And if you go today, just stay the night back at the house. Security wouldn't let you in until morning. I don't want you to cause more problems for us than you have already." Without another word, they got up and left.

I sighed and grabbed the keys. "Might as well go today," I muttered to myself. I got up and went back to my room to put in contacts to keep from being pulled over.

"Mitch! You're back!" Nik came running over to me and latched on. "You weren't here when we woke up and we got worried! Don't ever do that again!"

I grunted and shoved him off of me. "Well, just to keep you from worrying, I'm going to be leaving and not coming back 'till tomorrow." 

"Why are you leaving?" Derek asked. 

"Back to my house to grab something for my Father," I responded. I went to my room and closed the door. Sadly, Alex was in my room. I groaned and then said, "Alex get out and stop messing with my stuff."

"But you weren't here and I got bored. You also didn't answer your phone." He said. He had taken out my laptop and was trying to guess the password to get in.

"Just get out," I muttered. I went to my bathroom and put in my green coloured contacts. I grabbed my wallet, which contained fifty bucks and my driver's licence. I walked out of my room and found the other three looking like they were heading somewhere. "No. You are not coming with me." I stated.

"You don't get a chose," Derek said. "We'd get lonely without you here," I growled at them and left. Sadly they followed me. I led the way to Mother's car and got in. Derek sat shotgun while the other two got in the back.

"Just don't break anything," I said to them. It was 5 pm when I pulled into the driveway. Nik and Alex had fallen asleep on each other in the back. I snapped a picture before saying. "Alright kids, everyone out." Alex and Nik jolted awake.

"Are we there yet?" Nik mumbled in his half asleep state.

Derek chuckled at them while he got out. "Mitch, send me that picture of them sleeping together."

"What?!?" They both jumped out of the car and started ranting. 

"Oh shut up you two," I said. I pulled up the picture and sent it to all three of them. They all pulled out their phones and looked at the picture. Nik's head rested on Alex's shoulder and Alex's head rested on Nik's head. "Now come on." I lead the way into the house. 

"This is only slightly smaller than the Avila summer home," Nik commented. I just opened the door and let them in. 

"You can explore where ever you want, just don't break anything," I said. I left them to do what they wished and went to find Father's briefcase. I made my way to his study and started searching. A while later, I found it hidden behind a bookshelf along with a couple of different books. I took them all out and laid them on Father's desk. I picked up one of the books and saw something surprising.
