"Fine, I'll wear it." I finally said. Alex was nonstop bothering me to put on one of the outfits they had bought the other day. I was originally planning on just wearing a hoodie and sweatpants, but Alex insisted I wear something that was 'supposed' to wear at a water park. The three of them also got the grand idea of going with me to meet my parents.

I grabbed the outfit from him and walked back to my room to change. It consisted of black swim trunks that went to right above my knees and a black vest with purple swirls on it. I looked into my bathroom mirror and saw a completely different person. My chest and stomach were exposed to show well-defined muscles marred with scars. I had in hazel coloured contacts in and my ears and tail were gone. I shook off the weird feeling I had and walked back to the living room to find the other three in the same outfits, except that they had different coloured swirls on their vests. Nik had dark green swirls, Alex had red-orange, and Derek had dark blue.

"Mother is going to have a fit seeing me in something this revealing," I told them.

"Get over it, you sound like a girl. Now let's head out." Nik said. The three of them decided to hide their ears and tails as well to cause less weirdness between them and Mother. We stopped by Luna's door to find her and two girls waiting.

"Come on, Christia! We're gonna be late!" Luna called.  As I got closer, I could see that the two girls with Luna were Identical twins. She noticed me and the others and waved. "My god you look different!" She said, giving me a hug. "These are my roommates, Zana and Mia. We're waiting on my third roomie,  Christia." Just then, a blonde girl came up to the open door. The twins had light brown hair and light grey eyes, while Christia had golden hair with sea green eyes. I looked at the twins, and then at Derek. Derek had soft brown eyes and dark brown hair, but I could still see similarities.

"Hey, Derek, you wouldn't happen to be related to those twins... Right?" I asked.

He looked surprised. "Yeah actually. How could you tell?"

"Lucky guess. Now let's go." I responded. The girls took the elevator while me and the guys took the stairs. we all got to the bottom floor at relatively the same time. We got to  Ivory Cliff Cascades waterpark five minutes before 10, so we waited for Luna and mine's parents.

"Well hello everyone!" Mother said cheerfully coming up to us. Her eyes widened when they saw what I was wearing. "I didn't know that you two invited so many people to join us. We would have made more plans!"

"Sorry, mum," Luna said. "They asked this morning to come with and I just couldn't say no."

"It's no problem, sweetheart. Just inform us next time, alright." Father said.

"Alright!" Luna said. I didn't know if anyone else saw, but she rolled her eyes once they looked away. "Let's go in and get breakfast, I'm starved!"

Our large group entered the park and went to the nearby restaurant. "I hope you all don't mind, but I invited Tristan, Carter, and their mum to join us." We all sat at a table and ordered food. After eating, we all split into smaller groups. It was the adults, boys, and the girls. My group decided to go to the wave pool and just relax.

They all started talking about school again, while I pretended like I wasn't there. I hated talking about school. It always turned into an uncomfortable conversation for me. Apparently, they all knew each other because they're all popular in school.

"Hey nerd, I was talking to you," Tristan said.

I had zoned out so I was startled when he addressed me. "What, jackass?" I said.

He glared at me. "I asked if you were gonna be in the same school when it starts back up. I was wondering if your parents finally decided to put you in a mental facility."
