Three Months In Hell

The following is a few things I think you readers should know before reading this story. 

Magiks: the use of spells and incantations to heal, defend, and attack.

Elemental Magiks: the use of spells that control the elements fire, water, earth, and air.

Conduit: a person with extremely high energy levels that can be transferred to others; usually only high-level spellcasters can be conduits.

Being born under a full moon is considered extremely good luck and the person usually has more power when it comes to spellcasting. Being born under a lunar eclipse is even rarer. There hasn't been someone born under a lunar eclipse in several centuries.

Elemental Languages: There are multiple forms of the Elemental language. The most common dialect is a form that mixes hand jesters and a form of slightly changed English. The most uncommon is Ancient Elemental which was used several hundreds of years ago.

Ancient Elemental: It's very rare for people to speak in any form of the Elemental language. In ancient times, it was considered a gift from the gods if you could speak it. 

Evil Spirits: These aren't really believed in like ghosts. Only superstitious people tend to believe in spirits. But to these people, the spirits can control and take over a persons body and mind. It's very dangerous for someone's mind to be taken over by a spirit.

Abilities: These are certain things that children usually inherit from there parents. It could be something like being able to use elemental magik from a young age or something like Imapthism (The ability to feel other people's feelings).

In this story, there are two races. Werewolves and Humans. They live together now, but before, humans looked down on werewolves, thinking that they are just oversized animals. Some humans nowadays still look down on werewolves, but mostly, everyone gets along now.

Explaining the gods of this world: Most people, humans and werewolves, don't believe in any form of god. The practice of following gods or goddesses had decreased over the past few centuries. Few families pray to gods in this day and age. But if they do, it's usually werewolf families. The gods they would pray to are Goddess Moon, Father Sun, Mother Earth, Sister Sea, and Brother Wind. Families normally pray to one of them, and it's uncommon for people to follow all of them.

If there is anything that I missed, I'll try and inform you guys about it so the story makes a little more sense. This is also my first story that I'm writing so I hope you guys enjoy it. I tried really hard on this. My only hope is that I didn't write complete trash! Well anyways, I hope you peoples enjoy!
