"Do you stop believing in the moon, just because the sun comes up?" That was one of the last things that Jack Frost said to me. Yeah! You heard me. I was talking about THE Jack Frost. Most people think Jack Frost is a legend. Jack Frost is not real. Just like Santa Claus. Just like the Easterbunny. Just like the Sandman. Just like the Tooth Fairy. Just like Pitch Black. But I can tell you something different. They are real! Every single one of them. North, Bunny, Sandy, Tooth and Jack are the guardians. They protect every single child that believes in them. I still believe that they exist. When I was 10 years old my friends and I met them because they needed help against Pitch Black. But now I was a 16 years old teenager. I've never seen them again. Tears came to my eyes. It made me sad to think about the time with the guardians especially with Jack. I had so much fun but after the final battle he hadn't come back to my home town. "Jamie! Breakfast!" My mum yelled upstairs. "Give me a sec!" I replied while I was putting on a black sweater. I ran as fast as I could downstairs. I was that fast that I almost hit the table. "Jamie, slow down! My cereal!" Sophie glared at me angrily. She was nine years nowadays and became a little bit petulant. Mom said it was normal for her age. "Calm Down, Soph! Nothing happend to your cereal." I rolled with my eyes. Sophie and her cereal. She would protect it with her life if it was necessary. I grinned the second I have imagined it. My smile disappeared as I looked out of the window. It snowed. "Jack..." I sighed joyless. "Who is Jack?" Sophie asked curious as always. "Nobody." I answered frustrated. "Do you know Jack Frost?" Her green eyes were as big as the bowl infront of her. I smile slightly. "Yes. I know Jack Frost." My sister clapped excited her hands. "Tell me everything you know about him!" She grabbed my arm and shook it hardly. "Pleeeeaaaase!" Sophie was begging me. Her puppy dog eyes were melting my heart. "Okay. Not now! I'll tell you later." "Pinky swear?" Her pinky almost touched my nose. I grinned again. Sophie really wanted to make sure I didn't trick her. I hooked my pinky up with hers. "Pinky swear!" I winked at her and started to eat my toasts. After that I spent the whole morning in my room. You'd probably ask what I've done. I drew the guardians from my memory. Drawing became my hobby in middle school. The guardians never showed up again. That broke my friendships. Our friendship. We were all disappointed. But I am pretty sure that no one of my old friends stopped believing. In deep mourning about loosing the guardians and my other friends. I started drawing them to never forget them. That was how I discovered my talent for art. Without friends I had not much to do. I went to school. I played with my sister Sophie. I read some books and I perfected my drawing skills. I got so far that I started to give everyone I draw new looks. I promised Sophie to tell her everything about Jack Frost I know. In that case I decided to draw her a story. I drew the fight against Pitch. I drew how he had made me believe again. I drew the sleigh ride. I drew everything. I designed her for every part a comic and stapeled them in the right order together. Of course I coloured and shaded the pictures. Sophie wouldn't like them without colour. She always asked me why I didn't finish my drawings. I regulary smile about her question because Sophie didn't understand that you didn't need colour to finish a drawing. But Sophie was a little girl so I never was mad at her. She just loved colour and seriously how could you be mad at such sweet, innocent, little girl? I couldn't. I loved her way too much to be mad at her. "Jaaaamie! You promised me to tell me EVERYTHING about Jack Frost!" Sophie whined loudly. "I am coming , Sophie!" I went into her room. "I made you something." I handed her the comics. "YAAAAAAY!" My sister screamed and ran downstairs. "Mum! Mum! Look what Jamie made me!" She shouted happily. I followed the voice of my little sister. I entered the living room with a big smile on my face. "Show me." Mum sat down on the couch and looked at my work. "That's amazing, Jamie!" Mum praised me. "Sophie wanted to know everything about Jack Frost." I explained. "So I draw her some of his stories. I winked at my mum. I knew that my mum thought I made the stories up to make Sophie happy. She didn't know what happend that one night. I never told her and everybody knows she wouldn't believe me. But Sophie did! She will believe it till she grows up and think like mum. But I will never stop believing! I will always be a little light on the globe of the guardians.
