Perrie shifts slightly so I wait until she stops so I know she's comfortable. When she's still I take a deep breath and continue. "I mean you've met my mam, haven't ya?" I whisper. Perrie looks at me and nods cautiously. "She can be a little um... overprotective I guess you'd say" Perrie looks at me confused and whispers "most mams are baba" I shake my head and whisper "she was too overprotective especially after my dad left" Perrie looks at me shocked. I told her, Jes and Leigh that my dad is in Afghanistan with the Army which is why they haven't met him. "Jade why didn't you just tell us the truth?" Perrie whispers. I shift a little and whisper "my parents split when I was 6. 10 years later I guess I got fed up of explaining it. My mum accused my dad of cheating when she was the cheater, he left because he wanted me to have a "normal" life. I still see him when we get breaks and I do the whole two Christmas thing" Perrie reaches up to my neck and plays with the dog tags I always wear. "You said these are your dads" she whispers. I shake my head and whisper "they are copies of my uncles. Well the stage ones are. These are a set I had made when I had my uncles copied" Perrie looks at me, a hurt expression on her face briefly. "Do Jes and Leigh know the truth?" I shake my head and she looks a little less hurt about it.
