eight.

the next couple of days none of my friends would let me walk alone. i wasn't even allowed to walk to the ravenclaw commonroom from the gryffindor one alone.

lily and marlene often walked me to the ravenclaw common room in the mornings and any time near curfew despite the risk of getting caught.

i appreciated that everyone cared for me but it just got annoying, ash started acting weirder like more protective than normal. like can everyone just take a break.

i was almost sure they had a time table. cause when lily and i would walk to classes and we'd walk into melanie and gabbie they nodded at her and she said goodbye and walked away.

for lords sake i wasn't even to go to the bathroom alone. you know how tedious that gets. like before i leave i have to stand up and announce that i'm going to the bathroom like fucks sake.

i rolled my eyes as i walked with the marauders where we were then walking outside. we sat on some benches and i could here photos been taken. turning i see Kyla and Sharai smiling and taking photos.

I laughed quietly nudging James who was sat next to me. "Pose boys."

They turned to the camera and we made multiple didn't expressions and posed in multiple different ways for the two. They smiled as they stopped taking photos and walked away yelling. "Thanks Marauders!"

We all laughed happily. I turned to James and Sirius. "How's your plan going? Ya know the one with Lily Evans."

Sirius paused for a second before he spoke up. "Not well actually."

"I can tell why, cause you all have watch over me since the incident."

"We do not."

I sighed. "You all do like i hardly knew who Marlene was until the incident. I don't need babysitters guys i'm not nine."

"Still we got to be careful." Remus spoke up and said.

"I'm literally the second oldest out of us all i'm even older than Remus!" I snapped at the boys.

"Oh quiet you, you're only older than me by three minutes."

"Best. Three. Minutes. Of. My. Life." I said stopping in between each word. The boys rolled their eyes.

"Fine we all do have a time table. We'll drop it and if something happens to you when it's our go we told you so."

"Sounds fair, Jamie."

I stood up brushing my robes and my skirt down as i began to walk away. I didn't tell them where i was going i didn't really feel that i needed to. i turned the corner and made sure no one was following me before i got the marauders map out of my pocket.

I mumbled "i solemnly swear that i am up to no good."

I grinned as our names started appeared. It wrote The Marauders. Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, Fawn and Prongs. i opened the map and scanned around to try to find where Ash was.

Ah the hufflepuff common room. i closed the map and mumbled 'Mischief managed' once again then shoved it into my pocket and started making my way to the hufflepuff common rooms.

Ash had recently told me how to get into the common room. Though it was still a bit confusing i managed to find the way in and pushed my way through.

Hufflepuff has a nice common room. It defiantly lifted spirits with the vibrant yellow colour. They had circular windows where the sun shine would shine through. The room was filled with green plants and was very pretty.

A couple students were sat on the couches and some were sat on the table eating food they got from the kitchens i imagine. "Where the hell is Ash?" I mumbled.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around. "Here i am." Giggling i pulled him closer until our lips touched.

Pulling away he pulled me to the hufflepuff cough where i rested my head in his lap. I grinned as he started telling me stories of the magic school he used to go to in australia.

he told me about the bugs and the constant spiders everywhere which made me shivers. i hate spiders a lot. like why spiders why not butterflies.

"Australia sounds like a dream A."

"It certainly is, the beaches are quite extravagant over there although in summer it gets twice as hot as the UK gets."

I sat up turning to him. "Twice as hot you guys must be burning over there!"

He chuckled at me before replying. "Although it doesn't get as cold over there. Not like how it is now in our winters. we commonly find anything under 20c cold."

"That's pathetic."

"You can't say much, i don't think you could survive our Australian summers."

"Probably not."

"Not at all, love."
