fourty-nine.

"What i'm saying James is that it's idiotic if we have it in the woods in the middle of winter."

James whined dropping his head, "Lara-James imagine how pretty. The snow in your hair you would be glowing. It's not like the snows a problem anyway we can use magic after all did you forget that."

"Well if I'm getting married I'm sure my muggle family expects a invite. Don't think next christmas would be splendid if they found out i got eloped without their attendance."

"Hmp, fair enough, i suppose we shall do it another month."

"Thankyou." i responded leaning over kissing him lightly on the cheek before returning to my page.

After hours and hours of talking, we finally agreed where and when. February 27th. 1979. 2 years after our first date. We will have it in a meadow. Around noon with our families and friends. James planned for his best man to be Sirius, with his groomsmen being Remus, Peter and Frank. Where I'm going to have Melanie as my maid of honour along with my bridesmaids Chiara, Gabbie and Tabifa.

James and I stopped planning for today packing up the book with all of the information inside and headed out into the meadow beside the Potter mansion. We walked far enough where you couldn't spot us from the large home and found a tree to sit under.

I pulled a blanket out laying it in the shade where we both then laid on, "You know Lara-James i knew i was going to marry you ever since you and Remus came into the same carriage as us on the train." James whispered softly. I chuckled quietly, "Why are you laughing. Is the thought of marrying me so absurd?"

"Never James, but as if you knew you were going to marry me one day because we sat in the same carriage as you in first year."

"Well i remember how pretty i thought you looked, and sure i wasn't the most attractive in first year but i knew. that if i ever flew up when i was older that i would do whatever i could, i would wait as long as possible for you..."

I smiled at these words, "Well what took you so long, what made you wait till 6th year?"

"Well..." He started, "After we all began to get closer as friends. I knew that if we began to date that if we were to break up how much the group would suffer i suppose. But in 6th year i knew it was worth the risk. Not long left of school what did i have to lose."

"Well me."

"That's right, but now in over 7 months I'll legally be loving you forever. Till the day i die."

I smiled grabbing his hand from beside me and holding it tightly. Who would've thought this was the same James. Who was filled with mischief and madness and caused pain and annoyance for so many people.

But he is my James and will forever be my James. I know this and i'm positive that he will never get to leave me. "What are you thinking about y/n?"

"Well Love i'm thinking about how much you've changed across the years. You used to be a absolute brat." A grin began to form on my face and i turned to him and i watched as one formed on his.

He turned his head towards me too and i smiled as i stared into his hazel eyes. Eyes i could melt in and stare into forever.

I took my glasses off and leaned forward giving him a kiss. Before i stood up holding my hand out for him to take it. He grabbed it standing up with me and i began to twirl him and dance like no tomorrow.

No music playing, just us two. Two 18 year olds, who are of legal age, that are going to get married to each other, are going to live a long life together, hopefully with children. Together and always.
