Y/N sat in a pub beside Sirius, James, Remus and Peter. For Remus's and Y/N's 19th birthday. Like they always used to. "Remus we have a important question what's going on between you and Mel."

"How'd you find out about Mel-"

"Did you forget we live together Remus and so does Mel." Sirius said. He chuckled and we all joined in.

I knocked Remus lightly, "Oh Rem. Growing up are we?" He rolled his eyes flicking my hand back.

James, Sirius and Peter began to banter and i zoned out for a bit. Though i zoned back in and turned to Remus noticing his face dropping, "You okay Rem?"

He chuckled to himself, "Favourite time of the month."

Peter sighed dramatically wrapping his free arm around Remus, "Oh common it's not for what's it. Three more days. It's not like we've ever missed any before. Well those three at least. Sorry my parents won't let me out half the time."

"It's okay Peter, we understand."

James pulled me into a quick side hug placing a kiss on my cheek and Remus wined. "Not in front of me, I'm tired of seeing you kiss my sister."

"My wife! I'm not allowed to kiss my wife. Remus you should've not helped the setup if you didn't want to see us kiss." James replied then i pulled him in for a proper kiss. Pulling away i turned to Remus laughing.

"Might need to get some bleach for your eyes do we Remus." I exclaimed. Each of the marauders erupted in laughter.

"Are you serious?" Sirius muttered.

I rose my eyebrow back at Sirius, "No your Sirius, come on that's not the worst thing i've said."

"That is very true."

I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around, a young witch stood before me. "Hello, may i help you?"

"I-I'm Gabriella. Big fan of you I'm just wondering if you could sign my scarf. I watch all your games and I heard you got married. Well everyone did it was in the daily prophet. The photos were beautiful I'm sorry to disturbed i-" She stammered on.

I smiled grabbing the quill from her hand and signing the scarify swiftly. y/n lara-j p. "There's no problem with coming up to me. I hope you have an amazing day thank you for being so supportive and kind." I replied shooting her a smile. I saw the nervousness turn into happiness.

"Thank you."

She walked away and i turned back to the group and Sirius sighed, "Can't go anywhere now with famous Mrs Potter."

"Lupin first." Remus interrupted.

We remained at the pub for a couple more hours before each of us departing and separating. Peter on his own, Remus and Sirius and then James and I.

When James and I arrived home we were surprised when we saw the Potters owl sitting on the kitchen windowsill. James was quick to rush over grabbing the letter from the beak and tore it open and began to read it.

I watched as a range of emotion filled his face and he dropped the letter. "James. Love what is it?" I asked and I walked towards him.

"My parents, my-my parents have dragons pox." He mumbled.

"Oh James." I began and pulled him into a tight hug. "They'll get better."

He forced a smile to me and pulled away walking to his office, "I just, I just need a couple of minutes to myself." He said as he walked away.

I nodded and headed upstairs to our bathroom where i showered. After a quick shower i put my pyjamas on and headed into our bedroom. I read for a couple of minutes before taking my glasses off and turning off the light.

Light footsteps could be heard from where i was and the began to louden. I could only assume it was James coming to bed and soon enough i felt his weight on the mattress.

He reached out to me and i turned to him hugging and accepting his embrace, "You okay Jamie?" I asked softly.

He looked at me with sadness in his eyes and nodded softly. "I'll-I'll be okay." He whispered back.

Kissing him lightly on the head i held him close to me as he fell asleep as well as I did. Knowing the world isn't fair to anyone as it owes no one anything.
