A Letter From Wendy

Meanwhile in Fiore
While Ms. Rito was doing laundry, Ms. Rito got a letter from Wendy. "Dear Ms. Rito, how are you doing? I'm doing fine." Read Ms.Rito. Ms.Rito giggled. "I just passed the Hunter Exam's Third Phase. Isn't that great? But it's been a tough ride. First, after leaving Fiore, the boat I was on ran into a big storm. But that's where I met Leorio and Kurapika." Read Ms.Rito.
Flashback:
Meanwhile in the boat. "If only you can buy class as well, Leorio." Said Kurapika. Leorio started to get angry. "That was strike three. Step outside. I'll end the filthy Kurta bloodline, here and now." Said Leorio. "Take that back, Leorio!" Said Kurapika angrily. Leorio looks back at Kurapika. "I said take it back." Said Kurapika. It's Mr.Leorio." Said Leorio. Then suddenly a massive storm rushes in the ocean. Leorio and Kurapika were going to settle things up. "Take back what you said! Take back your words, and I'll forgive you, Leorio." Said Kurapika. "How many times must I repeat myself? You should show some respect. I won't back down." Said Leorio. Leorio pulls out his knife. "Very well." Said Kurapika. Kurapika pulls out his two swords. Katzo went flying and headed towards Leorio and Kurapika. Kurapika and Leorio tried to get Katzo, but it was too late. "Damn!" Said both Leorio and Kurapika, but in the corner of there eye they saw Wendy jump out of the ship and grab Katzo's hand. Leorio and Kurapika grab Wendy's leg. "Thanks, Wendy! You saved my life." Said Katzo. "I couldn't have done it alone. These two helped save you as well." Said Wendy. "Huh?" Said both Leorio and Kurapika. "Thank you very much!" Said Katzo. "No, you don't need to thank me." Said Kurapika. "Well...Yeah, I'm glad you're okay." Said Leorio. "Yeah! So I'll be returning to my post!" Said Katzo. Kurapika starts to smile. "What?" Said Leorio. "I apologize for my rude behavior. Sorry, Mr.Leorio." Said Kurapika. Leorio was shocked. "Wh-What's with the sudden change? We sound like strangers. Just call me Leorio...Leorio works." Said Leorio. Kurapika smiles. "I'm also sorry. I take back everything I said. I was wrong." Said Leorio.
End of flashback:
"This led to the three of us traveling to the Hunter Exam site together. Finally, the Hunter Exam began!" Read Ms.Rito.
Flashback:
"I apologize for the wait. The entry period for Hunter applicants has ended. The Hunter exam will now begin!" Said Satotz. Satotz started to pick up the pace and the other examiners started to run. "You must follow me to phase Two. This is the exam's First Phase." Said Satotz.
End of Flashback:
"That's when I say my childhood friend from 6 years ago. His name is Killua and he is the same age as me." Read Ms.Rito.
Flashback:
"Wendy is that you?!" Said Killua. "Killua?!" Said Wendy. "Where have you been I've been trying to find you?" Said Killua. "That's a long story." Said Wendy. "I didn't know you wanted to be a hunter?" Said Killua. "That's a long story too. I'll tell about it later." Said Wendy. Then Killua did flipped his skateboard and grabbed it. "Wow! That was cool!" Said Wendy. Wendy looked down at Killua's skateboard. "You kept the skateboard that I gave to you?" Asked Wendy. "Of course I did. It's special to me." Said Killua. Wendy starts to blush. While the applicants were running up the stairs lots of the applicants were lying down on the floor. "Hey, why do you want to become a Hunter?" Asked Wendy. "Who me? I never said that I wanted to become a Hunter." Said Killua. "Huh?" Said Wendy. "I heard the exam was supposed to be really hard, so I thought it'd be fun. But this is disappointing." Said Killua. "What about you?" Asked Killua. "Well, I heard rumors that my mom was a hunter." Said Wendy. "Oh yeah you mentioned your mom before." Said Killua. "So I want to become a Hunter so I can see the the beautiful world and go on adventures like my did." Said Wendy. "Hmm. What kind of Hunter is she?" Asked Killua. "I asked other people, but they didn't tell me." Said Wendy. Killua looked at Wendy and laughed. "It's the weirdest thing I have ever heard. You wanna find your mom, but you don't know her status and you don't know anything about her that's nuts." Said Killua. "Well, I asked Ms.Rito and she told me some stuff about my mother." Said Wendy. "Who's Ms.Rito?" Asked Killua. "She's the one who took care of me." Said Wendy. "Care of you?" Asked Killua. I'll tell you more later, but I heard that when my mom was twelve, she took the Hunter Exam and went on countless adventures. She was the only one who passed and become a Hunter." Said Wendy. Killua and Wendy saw the exit and ran faster. Satotz went to the top of the stairs and looked behind him. "Goal!" Said Both Wendy and Killua. "Yay! I win!" Said Wendy. "What are you talking about? I was faster." Said Killua. Meanwhile in the airship. "Now, I'll go over the rules of the game. If you can take this ball from me, before the airship reaches its destination, you win." Said Netero. While Killua tried to get the ball Netero would dodge and Killua would miss every time. Then Killua and Wendy tried to get the ball, but Netero would dodge them every time as well. While the ball was out of Netero's reach Killua and Wendy had a chance. "It's mine!" Said both Wendy and Killua, but Netero zooms in and gets the ball from Killua and Wendy. Wendy couldn't believe on what had just happened, but Killua on the other hand was getting frustrated. "I commend you on your efforts." Said Netero.
End of Flashback:
"Thanks to Killua, the Hunter Exam's been a lot of fun. We're finally reunited once again." Read Ms.Rito. Ms.Rito giggled.
"Applicants come from around the world to take the Hunter Exam, so there are lots of amazing people." Read Ms.Rito.
Flashback:
"Not bad, little girl. Is that your special technique? That's fascinating. Allow me a closer look." Said Hisoka. "Your fight is with me!" Yelled Leorio. Leorio was punched in the face. Wendy ran up to Hisoka and tried to hit him, but it was only a diversion. "You came to rescue your friend?" Said Hisoka. Hisoka was right behind Wendy and Wendy backed up. "Such a good girl." Said Hisoka. Wendy tried to hit Hisoka again, but it was a diversion again. "And that expression." Said Hisoka. Wendy tried to hit Hisoka with her magic, but would miss every time. "Very nice. I'm starting to get excited." Said Hisoka. Wendy created a diversion and tried to hit Hisoka, but Hisoka grabbed Wendy's neck. Wendy couldn't breath. "How wonderful. I really do love that look." Said Hisoka. Hisoka Let's go big f Wendy's neck and Wendy could breath again. "Do not fear. I will not kill your friend. He passed. Hisoka starts to do psychotic giggle. "Yes, you pass, as well. Grow up and become a fine Hunter." Said Wendy. Wendy was breathing heavily and was shaking.
End of Flashback:
"I was so scared that I was trembling and I was afraid of what would happen next, but I knew that my friends were by my side and would never let anyone hurt me. Especially Killua. At the start of the Hunter Exam, there were 404 applicants. But by the time we reached the Third Phase, only 41 were left." Read Ms.Rito.
Flashback:
"Ahem. Everyone, the exam's Third Phase will begin here, at the top of Trick Tower. To pass this phase, you must reach the tower's base alive. The time limit is seventy-two hours." Said Bean. Meanwhile inside of Trick tower. "W-What is this place?" Said Leorio. "Look over there." Said Killua. On the other side were other people in hoods. Leorio gulped. "Allow me to explain, Ladie and Gentlemen. Before you are some of Trick Tower's prisoners. The Hunter Exam Committee has also officially hired them as examiners. You will be fighting against the five of them." Explained Lippo. "There's too much at stake without knowing what they have up their sleeves. Given that. I shall- no I'll go!" Said Tonpa while interrupting Kurapika. "Mr.Tonpa?" Said Wendy. It was Tonpa vs The orange man. "Let the fight begin!" Said the orange man. The orange man dashed towards Tonpa and tries to reach towards Tonpa. "I... give up!" Said Tonpa. "Huh?" Said Killua. "What?" Said Leorio. The orange man stops and stands in front of Tonpa. "Did he just give up?" Asked Wendy. "M-Maybe he meant give me a sec?" Said Leorio." Next it was Bora vs Wendy. We will test to see how strong our magic ability is. If I win then you will be my slave." Said Bora. "Alright. And if I win you have to give me your charm rings and resign as a wizard." Requested Wendy. Bora was the one to go first. Bora had have off so much magic energy. The number was 200. "Man, that's a big number. I don't think Wendy has a chance." Said Leorio. "Alright I guess it's my turn." Said Wendy. Wendy was focusing all of her magic energy. "Sky dragons... wait what did she say" Said both Leorio and Kurapika. "Claw!" Said Wendy. The Magic testing ability machine was completely shattered and the number was 1,200. Bora could not believe the number that Wendy has gotten. "That means I win, right?" Asked Wendy. "Y-Yeah, you win." Said Bora. Next it was Majtani vs Kurapika. "A tattoo of a spider with twelve legs. That's..." Said Leorio. Leorio couldn't finish his sentence. "I'm Majtani, one of the Phantom Troupe's four Kong's! Consider that first strike my way of saying hello. This is your last chance to surrender. I'm still willing to..." Then suddenly Kurapika's eyes turn into the color of scarlet. "Huh?" Said Majtani. Majtani looks at Kurapika's eyes. "Wh-What's wrong with you?" Said Majtani. Kurapika grabs Majtani's face and raises it up high in the air. "Wh-What?" Said Majtani. Then Kurapika punches Majtani in the face. Then it was Leroute vs Leorio. "Right! In that case, we'll use rock-paper-scissors! A bet on who'll win a game of rock-paper-scissors!" Said Leorio. Leroute giggles. "What?" Asked Leorio. "It's so obvious what you'll use. I can read minds." Said Leroute. "Liar!" Your bluffing won't scare me!" Said Leorio. "You'll believe me soon enough." Said Leroute. Leorio started to get frustrated. "Let's do this! Rock... Paper... Scissors!" Said Leroute. Both Leorio and Leroute had rock. The air started to get intense. Leroute smirks. "Well? What will you use next? Think hard. Come on." Said Leroute. Leroute starts to laugh. "Damn! Man, I have no idea what to think!" Said Leorio frustrated. "Here we go! Here...comes the...draw!" Said Leroute. Leroute had paper and Leorio had rock. "Ohohohoho!" Said Leroute. "I win!" Said Leroute excitingly. Lastly it was Johness vs Killua. "How do you wanna do this?" Asked Killua. "Do this? I believe you're confused. This will be a one-sided massacre. I have no interest in the exam or any offer of amnesty. All I want is to hear you scream." Said Johness. "Really? Fine then we'll just keep fighting until one of us dies." Said Killua. "Yeah, that's right. I'll tear your body apart." Said Johness. Before Johness could even reach Killua, Killua went past Johness. There was a big whole in Johness's chest. Killua has something in his hand. Killua pulled it out. It was a bag and in the bag was Johness's heart. It was all bloody in the bag. "That's... mine. G-Give it back." Then Johness's heart stopped beating. Those words were his last. Johness had collapsed on the floor. Killua gave back Johness's heart back and put it on his hand. Meanwhile at the end of Third Phase. "Please select a path. There are two choices. One path allows five to pass, but is long and difficult. The other path allows only three, but is short and easy." Said Lippo. "I'm going to press O. We made it all the way here together. I want us all to pass together." Said Wendy. "Even if it's a big risk, I want to give it a shot!" Said Wendy. Everyone starts to get an axe a cut through the brick wall. Wendy, Killua, and Kurapika entered the finish line. "My butt hurts. I didn't expect a slide for the short and easy path." Said Killua. "Three of them." Thought Hisoka. "Thirty seconds remain." Said Lippo. "That was really close." Said Wendy. "Same here." Said Leorio. "Leorio, applicant #403, is the twenty-third to pass." Said Lippo. "My hands are blistered, but all five of us cleared the tower together. All thanks to Wendy!" Said Leorio. A buzzer went off. "The Third Phase of the exam is over. Twenty-five applicants have passed. One has died." Said Lippo." Then a stone wall had opened.
End of Flashback:
"And so, I've completed the exam's Third Phase, Ms.Rito. I don't know how many are left, but I'll pass them all and become a hunter and find mom. Until next time, from Wendy." Read Ms.Rito. Me.Rito got up from her chair and looked out the window and looked up at the sky. "Grandenney, your daughter is making her path. Wendy is coming soon. You don't have to wait any longer. Well? Are you happy?

Hey guys, savvykawaiipanda here. I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm sorry that I haven't been posting a story in a long time and I'm sorry. I've been really busy doing this book and moving into my new house. There will be chapter 14 tomorrow though so don't worry. There are only 7 chapters left until this book ends. Again thank you for you patience. And I have a little surprise for you in chapter 20 and at the end of the Chapter so stay tuned.
