Wendy, Kurapika, and Leorio have entered the hunter exam. Everyone was looking at them. " Is it me or is the mood here pretty grim." Said Leorio. " This is really scary. I wanna go home." Thought Wendy. " Hello. Please take your number badge. Thank you." Said the green glob. The green glob gave wendy a number badge. " Be sure to wear this on your chest at all times please and be careful not to lose it. Okay?" Said the green glob. " I'm number 405. Thought wendy. " Never seen you guys around before." Said an unfamiliar man. " Yo!" Said the unfamiliar man. " You can tell it's our first time here?" Asked wendy. " More less." Said the unfamiliar man. " It's getting easy. It's thrirty - Fifth attempt." Said the unfamiliar man. " You tried thrity- Five times!" Said both Wendy and Leorio. " I guess you could I say I'm a hunter x hunter veteran." Said the unfamiliar man. " Not really something to brag about." Said Leorio. " Indeed." Said Kurapika. " Anyway if you have anymore questions I'd be happy to help." Said the unfamiliar man. " Thanks alot." Said Wendy. " By the way the names Tonpa." Said Tonpa. " Hi I'm Wendy. This is Kurapika and Leorio." Said wendy. Both Kurapika and Leorio nodded. " You sure have taken the exam alot. Are you the only one here who has tried a bunch of times or are there others?" Asked Wendy. " I might hold the record, but yeah there are others. For instance...that guy over there. Number 255. Todo the  Wrestler. Over there is number 103 Bourbon the Snake Charmer. Let's see now...number 191 Bodoro the Kung Fu Master. Then there are the brother's. Imori, Amori, and Umori. And number 384 Geretta the Huntsman. There are more, but they've taken the exam most of the times." Explained Tonpa. Suddenly their was a blood cluddering scream. " My...how unusual. Seems this poor man's arm's turned into flower petals. Now you see them. Now you don't. You should be carful and do apologise if you bump into someone. Said an unfamiliar man. Wendy could not believe what had happened. " Just perfect. The psychopath is back again." Said Tonpa. " You know that guy?" Asked Wendy. " So does that mean he tried last year?" Asked Kurapika. " Number 44 Hisoka the Magician. He was the number one pick to pass last year exam, but until he almost killed an examiner he didn't approve of." Said Tonpa. " Then what the hell is he doing here. There letting him retake the exam after doing something like that." Said Leorio. " Of course they are. They changed the content examiners every year and the examiner's change the material. Anyway nobody likes the guy. So I would keep my distance if I were you." Said Tonpa. " Well definitely looks dangerous." Said Leorio. " Oh I almost forgot. Let's have a toast of friendship. What do you say." Said Tonpa. Tonpa got some juice out of his bag and gave it to Wendy, Kurapika, and Leorio. " Hey thanks. Don't mind if I do." Said Leorio. " Heh sorry guys, but the juice I gave you is a powerful lackidoice. One sip and your guts will be on a non stop rollercoaster for three days. If you wanna take the exam. I hope you brought plenty of diapers." Tonpa chuckled.
Just as wendy, kurapika, and leorio were about to take a sip Wendy smelled the juice. " Ew. Mr.Tonpa I think the juice expired?" Said Wendy. " Ewww gross." Said Leorio. " Huh that's odd...I'm really sorry about that fellas." Tonpa said. " Impossible. How can that girl smell the poisen? It doesn't even have any sent. Tonpa thought. Kurapika pourd out all of the juice out. " Please forgive me. I had no idea that the juice was bad. Said Tonpa. " You don't have to apologise. What about you are you okay?" Asked Wendy. " I'm totally fine." Said Tonpa. " I know we poisend the juice I'm just being nice. I have to keep my guard up and make sure he isn't doing anything suspicious." Wendy thought. Wendy, Kurapika, and Leorio walk away and talk somewhere else. " Hey! Mr.Tonpa. That juice was great got anymore. I don't know if I'm just nervous, but I really am thirsty." Said the white hairs boy. " Oh. Of course." The white haired boy starts chugging down the drink. " Worried. Well don't be I'll be fine. I trained for this. Poison don't hurt me." Killian walks away. " Number 99 Killua. Damn. This year's rookies are completely insane." Then suddenly their was crazy sound. Then everyone got serious. Then a tall man walked up to the applicants. " I apologise for the delay. Thank you for waiting. The hunter exam will now begin." Everyone was getting ready for the exam. " One final word of caution. If your short on luck or ability keep in mind that the very will chance you will end up seriously injured. Death is a distinct possibility. If your willing to accept the risks involved I will ask you to follow me now. But for the rest of you. Kindly exit through the elevator there behind you. Right then very well all 404 applicants will now participate in phase one. The tall man starts to walk. But immediately starts to pick up the pace and everyone starts to run. " Woah what?" Questions Leorio. " I think the people in front started running." Said Wendy. " I think it is because he started to pick up the pace." Said Kurapika. " How rude of me I've neglected of introducing myself. I am Satotz your examiner for the first phase."The first phase of the exam begins. One canidant is disqualified before the test gets underway bringing the total number of Hunter applicants is 404.
