The Third Phase of the exam is taking place at Trick Tower, a prison for long-term prisoners. Wendy and her friends have chosen to partake in a five-on-five battle with some of the prisoners. Due to Tonpa's actions, they've already suffered one loss. The next round will pit Wendy against Bora. What will happen in the upcoming battle? "Now,then as you can see, I'm pretty strong. I don't really enjoy fighting women. So I came up with a simple way that way I could not hurt a beautiful women like you." Said Bora. "Really. Wow aren't you a gentleman." Said Wendy sarcastically. Bora pulled out a magic card testing power. "This little gadget of mine can tell how strong our magic ability is. Whoever has the stronger magic ability wins." Explained Bora. Wendy sighed. "Alright. I accept your challenge." Said Wendy. Bora pulls out the magic testing ability. "How about you go first. Like they always say ladies first." Said Bora. "No. How about you go first. How about we go from age, since your older than me, you go first." Said Wendy. Bora chuckled. "Alright, looks like it's settled. I'll go first." Said Bora. Bora took out one his ring charms and casted at the magic testing ability. The number was 200. "That's a...big number." Said Leorio. "I don't think Wendy could compete for that number." Said Kurapika. "Alright then. Let's get this over with." Said Wendy. Wendy's hand was full of magic energy. Bora started to chuckle. "Sky dragons..." "Wait What did she say?" Said Leorio and Kurapika. "Claw." Said Wendy. The Magic testing ability started to crack and the number appeared. 1,200! Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, and Bora could not believe what had happened. "How strong is Wendy." Thought Leorio and Kurapika. "Oh, she must be a sky dragon slayer. Those are really rare. She must be really talented. I'm really impressed by this girl." Said Lippo. "That means I win right?" Asked Wendy. "Yeah." Said Bora. "But, I have one question. Why didn't you use your special ability." Said Wendy. Everyone was confused. If you could have used your special ability you would have beaten me and won. So why didn't you?" Asked Wendy. Bora didn't respond. "Oh well. Better luck next time." Said Wendy. Wendy walks back to her friends. "Yay! I won!" Said Wendy. "Good job, Wendy! Now we have a win! Once Kurapika and I win, we can advance!" Said Leorio.
Time skip:
"Damn you, Majtani you were completely worthless. His facial scars were from a botched plastic surgery operation. That's one hell of a fraud. Hey, you understand, right?" Asked the orange guy. "Let me handle it. I have a good idea." Said the hooded women. "Okay! I'll secure our victory!" Said Leorio.
Kurapika has defeated Majtani. Another win, and they will clear this trial. How will Leorio handle the next challenge?
