Rhyan broke eye contact with chiron and looked out over the morning view of Camp Half Blood. The sun had risen not to long ago leaving its fresh glow over the rising campers.

"Yes. I did know about demigod and this place before I arrived." Rhyan had a cirtain bitterness as though  it was a happy memory liked with a really bad one.

"How did you know?"

"Mum used to tell me and Abby about it in bed time stories. She wrote it all down for me when she realised she was being poisoned. It was ambrosia you know. The thing that poisoned her, food of the gods so I'm told."

Chiron nodded. "Yes it is."

"I couldn't read the book. Not when she died.... only when the cyclops attacked Abby, Noah and I did I realise that I might have to..." Rhyan trailed off and chiron provided a hankie from his tweed jacket.

That was when he noticed something strange. "Where is your Camp Half Blood top?"

"Haven't been given one."

"Come along we must find you one. I'll get someone to take you to the stores."

Rhyan was thankful for the change of conversation but when she saw who Chiron was walking towards she wished she had never got out of bed early.

•~*~•~*~•~*~•~*~•

Crash and his siblings were sparring and practicing there combat skills when Chiron walked up to them. Behind him was a fimiliar head of blonde hair attached to the unmistakable annoyance that was Rhyan Theft.

"Crash?" Chiron called walking over to Crash. It always amazed him how Chiron kept his coat so white even through all the mud and blood shed of Camp Half Blood.

"Seeing as you and Rhyan have met before I was hoping you would be able to show Rhyan to the stores." It wasn't a request. It was a polite demand but unfortunately crash wasn't to good with demands, or politeness.

"I'm training though." Crash argued. He always argued back to Chiron for one reason or another, it was just a thing he did.

"Crash."

"I'll do it." A girl ,obviously related to the ares campers, stepped forward. She had a round baby face and was slightly bigger, taller and had more muscle than Rhyan but was obviously smaller than any of her siblings. She had short, black hair intricately woven into two French plats,  one on each side of her head. Rhyan doubted she had done them herself.

The girl stuck her hand out in a jesture of friendship."Hi Rhyan, I'm-"

"-Not going anywhere with this lunatic." Crash finished for her pulling her hand away.

"Why not?" She asked.

"Because..." Crash pulled her aside having his own private conversation with her. Rhyan could pick up a few things they said such as "happed last time" and "don't care" or "come with us" then the strangest thing. Crash agreed.

It was then that Rhyan noticed a few things. 1- All campers were wearing bright orange CHB tops. 2- Both Crash and the unknown girl had matching beaded necklaces. Not just them though. The entire camp had them.

Crash and the girl finished there conversation while the ares campers trained and chiron and Rhyan waited.

"We'll both go." The girl beemed. "Hi I'm May Giles. And this is my half-brother Crash."

"Splendid, now off you three go." Chiron shewed them away.

At first the walk was silent and very awkward then May broke the awkwardness.

"Do you mind if I ask you some questions?"

"Not at all, May. Ask away." Rhyan smiled at her younger companion. May started asking random questions such as 'how old are you?' Or 'What's your favourite colour?' To which she replied '11' and 'marron'. Crash took no notice but made sure to walk a pace behind may and Rhyan but in the middle of them at the same time.

Then Rhyan asked a question of her own. "How did you do that to your hair?"

"Oh me? I didn't-"

"We're here." Crash interrupted his eyes wide at Mays answer. May didn't seem to pick up on her brothers obvious diversion but didn't carry on anyway.

Infront of Rhyan was the hermes cabin. "I thought you said stores."

"Normally we ask a hermes camper to nick a top."

Rhyan nodded. Crash knocked on the door. A small girl opened the door. She had brown hair and brown eyes to match. Julia Feingold- daughter of Hermes.

"What?" She looked at Crash.

"Camp Half Blood top. Now." Crash demanded.

"Ruin yours again? You woke me up for this?" Crash clenched his fist and anyone could see he was about to blow.

"Julia?"

"Sup newbie."

"It's Rhyan, 2 syllables I'm sure you can manage. And the top was for me seeing as I haven't got one yet."

"It's on your bed if someone hasn't taken it. I put it there this morning but you got up well early."

"Oh thanks."

Rhyan waved at May as she went in to change into her top and have a wash.

•~*~•~*~•~*~•~*~•

Rhyan was just towel drying her hair when the senior hermes camper ,Cecil Markowitz rushed round and let everyone know that it was 8:30 - breakfast time.

Rhyan looked down at her Orange top it felt weird swapping her old top for a new one, but at the same time natural.

Rhyan sat down at a table with the hermes campers when little Julia Feingold topped Rhyan plate high with food.

"What are you doing?"

"Making sure you have enough to sacrifice. Look." She pointed to a line of campers who were scraping half there food into the large hearth in the centre. "We have to scrape some food into the fire in honor of our parents."

Rhyan nodded. Made scence when she thought about it.

After waiting in a fairly short queue it was Rhyans turn. 'Please... Hephaestus Apollo and dad- who ever you are- look out for the boys.' She prayed as she scraped her plate.

She sat back down next to Julia. That was when she noticed. The hunters weren't there.

"Where are the hunters?" Rhyan asked putting brown sauce on her plate.

Julia wrinkled her nose at the brown sauce. It was safe to say she didn't like it. "They left this morning. Always do. Come and go as they please."

A/N- sorry nothing happened in this, it's just a filler. Also whose your godly parent?
