Rhyan woke with a thumping headache and three people standing over her. Rhyan vaugly reconised this place, then it came to her. Infermary.
"What... what happened?" Her throat was dry and her back, arms and legs ached.
"You were traing and slipped. You sliced your back." An apollo camper sighed.
"But it's okay because Olli and I found you and patched you up." Noah smiled from the other side of the bed. Oliver was asleep by Rhyan side. He just mumbled something about 'a great way to celebrate her birthday'. Yeah real great.
"Come on then let's go I'll be fine." Rhyan tried to sit up. It hurt more than she thought it would.
"Sleep it off for now. We'll wake you when you can go." The camper walked off as Rhyan yawned.
•~*~•~*~•~*~•~*~•
An exceptionally high pitch scream at 3 am is never a good way to start the day. Especially when that scream ment that a thousand year old mummy was spouting out a green mist and snakes.
Rhyan just wanted to sleep off the pain. To bad she was mildly intreaged as to what the mummy had to say. Rhyan got up to find out the news.
As it turned out, the scream had come from senior Ares camper Marcus, who'd woke in the middle of the night to find the Oracle of Delphi standing in the doorway of the Ares cabin. The oracle had lifted it's arm and pointed at each camper individually before puffing out green smoke and leaving.
'Strange' Rhyan thought. She believed oracles were ment to say things. Not just point around aimlessly.
Rhyan sighed looking at her watch. It was 3:25 am and she was incredibly bored, there was no way she'd get back to sleep now. Sometimes she hated being a light sleeper. It made her think.
Her father obviously didn't want her. She didn't mind that bit but she did want to know what cabin she'd have to live in and with who. She wished she was back home with her mum and sister, before everything went from bad to worse. Suddenly, a bitter taste appeared in her mouth. She could have had a normal life, if her dad wasn't a God. If he'd have kept it in his pants she'd have never been born, her mum would never have died.
Rhyan had a brilliant idea. Punish him. How would she know who her father was? She didn't have to. She'd punish them all.
•~*~•~*~•~*~•~*~•
Rhyan sat at the hermes table, waiting. Campers lined up each one throwing half their meal into the hearth. Rhyan had done her research. The forest surrounding Camp Half Blood was home to many creatures. Giant ants, spirits, monsters and most crucial to her plan, spiders. The red-ash spider silk could hold up to 20kg in total and was flame proof . Very... Intresting.
Rhyan waited and waited, until half the campers had finished with their food. The string was starting to get tight. She pulled it.
The spiders silk was attached to several other bits of thread and foliage surrounding the hearth, all leading back to Rhyan's strand. The tug of the string started a chain reaction. All the other strands were becoming taught, throwing the semi-burnt food at the campers. Rhyan laughed at the chaos. Her father would never claim her now.
Kids screamed in horror as freshly fried food projected it's self around camp.
"Who did that?!" The camps director, Dionysus shouted as a baked bun knocked his glass over his purple and green banana print hawian shirt. He glared around the camp. All the children were up and running around screaming or hiding under their tables. Not one girl though. A blonde girl sat laughing at the hermes cabin while pulling the air.
"RONNIE TRIFLE!"
Rhyan rolled her eyes. Rhyan Theft. It wasn't that hard.10 letters."Yes Mr D?" Rhyan smiled.
He grit his teeth. "You! You horrid, evil, child! You have stolen one of the rights of the gods! YOU'VE-" Dionysus fell silent.
Everyone was silent.
"Been claimed." Chiron spoke, gesturing above her head. She looked up. She couldn't really see it to much but from Julia, Luke and several other Hermes campers came running up to her she assumed she was daughter of hermes. Great. If she didn't already have a name for herself as a street theif, she would now.
"Rhianna Thint, daughter of Hermes." Mr D very falsely grinned, before muttering "...Mischief maker extraordinaire..."
"It's Rhyan." She muttered before walking back to her table and eating the remainder of her breakfast.
Rhyan smiled as she got ready for bed. The day had gone surprisingly fast after her stunt, especially as she'd been made to clean up the mess she'd made. Luckily for her, the nymphs helped as did a few other campers.
The same thing that happened the night before happened again. The Oracle appeared in the Ares cabin twice more, waking more campers until on the third night only Crash was willing to sleep.
The mummified Oracle walked into the cabin. The campers parted like the red sea did for Moses. The mummy walked right up to Crash's bunk.
"I thought I told you lot to keep- there appears to be a mummy sitting on the end of my bed."
•~*~•~*~•~*~•~*~•
Crash tried to sleep but his siblings were making such a racket. They'd promised to keep the noise down. That he could sleep through, however when one of them sat on his legs with no intent of moving Crash couldn't pretend or even try to sleep anymore.
"I thought I told you lot to keep- there appears to be a mummy sitting on the end of my bed." Crash gulped.
The mummy spewed green fog and snakes before she spoke:
"Three must travel to a world of chaos,
Ram or buck shall face figmental foe,
Once prey kills preditor and
A young Boar takes bait and bends his will,
The trap shall fall when the larceny is made,
The labyrinth reveled with a traitors death,
And passions revealed in the last breath."(A/N~ Sorry that this chapter jumps around a bit but hopefully everything will make sense soon.)
