Chiron waited outside the doors of the camp infermary to here the voices of 2 of the apollo kids."Their still not eating or speaking."
"Still? What about the hunters?"
"Refusing to leave until the girl wakes."
"Ugh how are we going to tell chiron?"
Chiron thought now would be a good time to announce his presence. "Tell me what?" It had been 2 and a half days since the three demigod had a arrived and Chiron had yet to see them.
As he entered he saw only a single occupied bed.
On the bed was a girl. She was thin and pale with sickness. She breathed raggidly and her chest heaved with every breath. Curled up next to her were two equally as thin boys. One with blonde hair matching hers and the other with dark skin and even darker hair.
As the two apollo campers explained what had happened and that the boys were not eating without explanation a croaky voice interrupted them.
"It's because I said not to eat unless it was safe..."
Chiron looked at the girl. Her eyes were still shut but she was starting to stir from her rest.
"What do you mean miss?"
"Rhyan. Rhyan Theft. I ate a sandwich to see if it was safe for these two to eat but it wasn't. It was... bad. Mouldy even... like poison. And we have a rule that they arn't allowed to eat unless I give it the all clear..."
Chiron shut his eyes. It all made sense now. He just needed one thing to confirm his suspicions. "These sandwiches... from a bin I presume."
Rhyan nodded.
"With rats."
Rhyan nodded again.
"She's been poisoned. Rat poison. Wake the boys and bring them food. She'll be good to go with a bit of nectar in a few hours."
With their bellies full and feeling a lot better than before the trio set off to explore, Rhyan being pulled in every direction by Noah and Oliver who although they had been on a food boycott, we're not on a fun and adventure boycott.
Rhyan had to say that she'd had fun with the boys through the day, and it was almost lunch. And that was when she saw it.
A tall boy with olive skin, dark hair and dark eyes to match shouting at one of the hunters- and if Rhyan remembered rightly (which she usually did) that peticular hunter had helped look after her boys. So she knew for a fact that no matter how ill or poisoned she was she was not about to let someone who'd helped her get shouted at for nothing.

Crash was the kind of guy most people took one look at and ran. He was your traditional Ares camper. Tall, muscular, hard eyed yet compared to his brothers and sisters quite lean but by no means was he weak.
Crash had just found the hunter who'd shot his half sister in the arm - he was about to show her what would happen if she, or anyone else dared hurt his sister again. It was obvious it wouldn't be a time out on the naughty step-That's for sure.
He'd just grabbed the hunter by the coller of her coat when shouting interrupted his violent lecture.
"Oi! What on earth are you doing?!"
Crash raised an eyebrow. Who ever was shouting at him was either stupid or new- There was no inbetween.
"Put her down! I'm talking to you metal head!"
Crash dropped the hunter and turned to the voice. Who ever it was had guts. He wondered if their guts would look nice decorating cabin 5's door. Yes. Yes they would.
He looked for the voice only to see a girl being stared at by the rest of the campers and held back by a small Indian boy and a even smaller blonde boy in a leg brace.
Although the girl was small to begin with she was painfully and unnessasaraly thin. Her maroon top and jeans hung off her skeletal frame. Long sandy blonde hair hung in a frizzy ponytail, some bits hanging her sunken face, others blowing in her eyes. Some how despite her horrible circumstances she still had a mischievous glint in her gunmetal blue eyes. And Crash didn't like that. Not one bit.
That glint held power, persuasion and pride.
Crash put back his anger and tried his usual intimidation technique.
"And you are?" He asked looking her up and down as he walked around her. This technique usually worked on girls. They were normally a stumbling mess by the time he was back round to face them.
This time however he got an answer.
"Rhyan Theft. Free to love me or hate me as soon as you wish." She smiled and stuck out her hand. He shook it."It will always be the latter." He seethed.
"Good. This would also be the point where you introduce yourself."
Crash rolled his eyes. "If you don't know me you must be living under a rock."
"What ever, see you around Moore." She said turning around and walking back to the boys.
That had unsettled him. How had she know his name. He didn't want to ask how she knew but at the same time he wanted to know... really badly. Thankfully May saved him the humiliation of asking.
"How did you know his name?"
"It's engraved on the inside of his watch."
"H-how..." Crash mumbled looking down to where his watch usually was only to find his wrist bare. He looked up to see Rhyan dangling it from her fingers in a taunting manner.
He went red with rage. Then the lunch horn went and everyone snapped out of their daze and went to the dining pavilion. Crash was gonna get her back. One way or another.

Rhyan and Oliver sat together at the hermes table. Noah didn't. He went straight to a roudy table with full of laughter and singing. Rhyan nudged Oliver. "Why's Noah over there?"
Oliver shrugged. A young hermes camper answered her. "He got claimed." She said it like that sorted all of her problems.
"Right." Rhyan made a mental note to ask Noah about it later.
Lunch was pretty dull. The trio ate small amounts of food so that they could stretch there stomachs gradually. They chatted to a few other campers about demigod life such as training, claiming and the way things work.
Rhyan was just finishing her lunch when Zoë approached Rhyan without so much as a hello and said, "We need to talk."
