The hall opened out into an arena. Instantly, a metal fist was thrown at her. A large metal... thing was guarding the entrance to the next task.

She went back the way she came. Her teammates still hadn't made it through the mirror task.

She grabbed them and pulled them through.

"I need your help. Weve got to fight a large metal man for out next task and I don't want to do it alone." After a short debate they agreed to help each other on this task and this task only.

The group ducked, and strikes, and screamed at eachother. A lot.

One of her teammates hit a point on the mechanical beast.

"Why do you keep aiming for there?" Rhyan called out.

"Because there's an off switch." He stated. "EVERY ONE! Aim at the off switch!"

Her teammates were a lot bulkier than Rhyan, meaning they had a better chance in the fight but she could slip through undetected.

"Cover me." She called to her team mates. Rhyan snuck round the edge and waited. The mechanical demon completely ignored her just as she'd hoped.

She counted down in her head. 3...2...1.. Jump! She jumped onto it's back and flicked the switch. The lights in its eyes went out and it shut down. "On our own from here out?" One teammate said as they approached the hall way. The rest nodded and set off down the hallway.

The next part of the circuit had a set of arrows with letters taped to the feather. She looked at the door it had a light above it. Apollo she guessed.

Apollo was the God of archery,and the sun, and music ,and healing , and probably a few other things to.

One of the teammates picked up an arrow and fired it. It made a noise like a child had just hit a piano key.

C. That was the letter. The teammate fired another. G. He fired 3 more.

"Wait! This would be Apollo's task, right?" The teammates nodded.

"So music and archery? The arrows represent music notes or keys or whatever there called. So firing the arrows would make a tune..." Rhyan summised.

"Anyone know any songs?" Everyone shook their heads. A tall scrawny kid put his hand up.

"DD BB C D D..... C D Eb F Eb D C...C D Eb F Eb D C... D D D F A G G... or something like that."

The team nodded and fired the arrows in time to what the boy said. The light flashed green and they carried on through the circuit.

"Hey, what song was that?" Rhyan heard the only other female on her team ask the boy.

"It was the piano chords for Bohemian rhapsody I think." He replied.

The next one opened to a task dedicated to Athena. Rhyan sighed. It probably used smarts and logic.

There were a few tunnels, each one having a sphinx gaurding it.

A young Athena camper stood on a balcony with a megaphone. "So guys for this you pick a tunnel and go through it. Simple, but you can only pass through if you answer the questions right. If not well let's just say the Hermes campers are looking forward to pelting you guys with rotten food. You have 3 attempts and 3 questions - have fun and think."

'Where do we get the questions from?' Rhyan asked herself. There was no obvious indicator as to what the question  would be.

"One." The mechanical sphinx spoke up. "What flies when it's born, lies when it's alive and runs when it's dead?"
