"Hey girlies did you hear?" One of the Aphrodite girls came and sat down at the small table containing Julia, Rhyan and a few other girls Rhyan had gotten to know. "Crash has been put on defulters."

"Defulters?"

"A punishment system." Julia explained to Rhyan. "What'd he get?"

"Laundry and washing up duty. For a month."

"What did he do?"

"See Marcus." The girl pointed to a boy with an obviously broken nose, black eye and several other cuts and bruises in various places. "Crash beat him up. Like for no reason."

"Crash?" Julia asked as she stopped eating her food.

"Doesn't't suprise me..." Rhyan muttered under her breath.

"Why not?" Julia asked as the other girls on the table chatted among themselves.Rhyan shrugged. "Cought him beating up Noah and Ollie."

Julia raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure? Crash wouldn't do that."

"With my own eyes."

"Geez... He really mustn't have learned anything..." Julia muttered under her breath. Rhyan looked at her strangely but ignored it. Crash had probably been in trouble for this before then, right?

Rhyan got up and walked away from the table. She wasn't particularly hungry now she was getting regular meals so she didn't eat much for lunch. Instead she decided to learn.

She walked around the camp looking for something to do. Following her feet she ended up on the hill. She could see everything.

"Hi Rhyan." Rhyan jumped and spun around. A small slightly chubby girl appeared behind her.

"May, you scared me half to death!" Rhyan smiled.

"Sorry I just came to find you. Chiron asked me to get introduce you to the weapon shed so you can pick yours."

Rhyan and May walked in scilence for a long while before may broke it. "He said he didn't do it you know. Hit Noah or Oliver I mean. He definitely beat Mark up but not Olls or Noah."

"Olls?" Rhyan questioned. She didn't really care that May was trying to defend her brother.

"Yeah I called him it once and it stuck." She shrugged. "But crash wouldn't -"

"Look, May. I don't really care about Crash. All I know is that he-"

"Didn't do a thing but you won't accept that." The nine year old quipt back glaring at Rhyan. The glare looked more like a hamster that had stuffed it's face with nuts but her eyes held fury. "Oh look. Were here."

The weapon shed was the same as any overly large garden shed. Inside however, was not your average garden tools. This shed had blades of every kind stacked and hung on the walls.

"Take your pick. Any weapon." May said.

"What would you go for?"

"Long sword." May awnsered without hesitation.

Rhyan looked around. Nothing cought her eye until two blades wrapped in a red cotton cape appeared in her perpetual vision, bearley noticeable amongst the other weaponry.

Rhyan unwrapped the red cotton. Inside were two celestial bronze blades a little longer than Rhyan's forearm, a padded leather handle a third of the way down.

"Tonfa swords I belive." May smiled.

By the hilt of the sword was an encryption. Aculeus. "Stinger..."

May nodded. Well then. "This is yours if you want it." Rhyan nodded.

•~*~•~*~•~*~•~*~•

Rhyan was just on her way to the dining pavilion. It was getting late in the evening and she was hungry,  when someone sounded the alarm.

Rhyan watched as four scrawny figures ran towards the Camp Half blood border, chasing them was a large clumsy hulk of a creature with one putrid yellowing eye - a cyclops.

"Help! HELP!" The figure in he front bleeted. That was when Rhyan reconised him. Ginger hair, traditional camp top, set of reed pipes, and the same shaggy haired hind quaters... It was Grover.

"Everybody to the borders ASAP!" One of the older campers comanded.

Rhyan rushed to the borders. She knew she wasn't grate at fighting but there were other things she could do, then she remembered. Last time Noah or Oliver had seen a cyclops she'd nearly died. They would need her more. She turned back to find them.

Mid turn she spotted them. Noah had a bow and arrow, Oliver was busy handing campers weapons. They didn't need her- They had each other.

Rhyan ran back towards the battle. She ran straight past the front line and called to grover. He hurried over to her calling and becoming for the three children following him to do the same. There were two children about her age and a girl, much younger than her.

The blonde boy following Grover ran with the small blonde girl, pulling her along faster than she could go.

The dark haired girl ran a few paces in front of them, it appeared that they could out run the beast when the young blonde fell. "Annabeth!" The boy tried to get her back up but the beast was already looming over them.

"Luke, get her somewhere safe,  I can hold it off!" The girl called turning around and running towards them. The boy, now named Luke, grabbed Annabeth and ran. He didn't look back until he had passed the border and got Annabeth to the Apollo campers. Not a single one was free.

Crash walked up to them. "Hey little one. Is it okay if I take you to the infirmary?" Annabeth nodded and crash picked her up ballencing her on his hip. Crash looked at Luke. "Do what you need to. I've got her."

Multiple shocks of lighting were bought down from the sky landing hit after hit on the cyclops. Finally it fell but not before hitting it's opponent with deadly force.

The black haired girl went sailing through the air. Dead before she'd hit the floor.

A crowd surrounded the girl, Luke had managed to push his way to the front somehow.

Rain began to fall lightly and lightning struck the spot where the young warriors body had been and replaced it with a large pine tree. "Who was she?"

"Thalia Grace. Daughter of Zeus." Luke gulped hugging the small girl, Annabeth. Suddenly, Rhyan didn't feel hungry anymore.

A/N~ hope this isn't too bad, I tried doing a sads but I don't know if it worked.
