After about forty minutes of feeling Calum's hand move from your shoulder to your stomach and back, you hear someone clanking around in the kitchen.

As slowly and carefully as possible you remove Calum's left arm, and gently roll off of his right one. He stirs a bit and you cringe, holding your breath, but he's still not awake after a moment you you gently stand up off of the bed and tiptoe out to the living room, shutting the door softly behind you to block out anymore noise and let him sleep for as long as possible.

Michael and Ashton are both awake, they must have gotten more sleep, having not been alone for the first part of the night.

Michael sits at the table with a cup of coffee, and Ashton stands at the counter with a book in front of him. You walk up to the opposite side of the counter and mimic his position.

You stare at him for a minute or so, waiting for him to notice that you're there. The fact that he doesn't amuses you.

"What'cha reading?" You ask with a yawn. His head snaps up.

"Oh hey, good morning. It's uh, Its just "The Glass Castle," he says, sliding a piece of paper between the pages and closing the book.

"Is it good?" You answer yourself before he has the chance to. "Well it probably is, I've been standing here for a while."

"Yeah it's really good. Sometimes I just done out I guess. Book are a great distraction."

It's been a while since you last read a book. You barely even remember it's name. Something about a girl who played with fire.

"Should I read it?" you ask.

"Oh yeah sure I should be done with it tomorrow, you can borrow it then."

"Tomorrow? It looks like you just started that!"

"I did but I'm probably going to have a lot of time to read in the hospital today." He says. You look up at the clock and see that it's almost one in the afternoon.

"When are we going to go?"

"Whenever Calum wakes up." Michael stand from the table and joins you at the counter.

"I'm gonna go take a quick shower," you say and head back into your room. Quietly, you pick up you suitcase and bring the whole thing into the bathroom. You set you your clothes and grab a washcloth from the little shelf next to the shower.

After you undress you look at yourself in the mirror. The bump is getting tough to hide. It's getting harder to go out into public. You have to hide under big sweaters or behind you bag. Sometimes you have to wear a hat and sunglasses. It feels like you're hiding from the world, which is pretty much what you're doing.

You get into the shower, keeping it room temperature. You used to take long showers, sitting in there for up to forty five minutes. But recently you haven't enjoyed them as much.

You've washed up, dried, and have gotten dressed in under fifteen minutes. You towel dry your hair a bit, but for the most part leave it to air dry. When you come out of the shower, the bed is made, and Calum is awake and dressed in all black. It contrasts in and odd way with the room full of mostly white.

"Hey there, you know, Ashton and Michael are awake, you didn't have to sit in here alone," you say.

"Yeah, I know. I was out there for a bit."

"Then why did you come back in here?"

"They were teasing me," he says, his cheeks getting a tiny bit pink.

"Teasing you? About what?"

"They though I slept in your room because..." he stops for a moment.

"Because why?"

"Because I'm a afraid of the dark," he says, his cheeks growing ever brighter pick than before.

"Awweee," you half say, half giggle. You sit down next to him on your bed and set your arm on his shouder. "Well that's good because.you know what?"

"Hmm?"

"I am too," you say with a smile.

"What? Jeez and all this time I thought you were going to protect me from it," he jokes.

"Nope, that's your job, I'm the pregnant.one remember?" He chucks a bit.

"Yeah." For a moment his mind seems to go else where.

"Come on," you say standing up and reaching out your hand. He takes it and stands and you both walk out to the room, giving the boys crap about teasing Calum as he fake pouts and sniffles.

The fun last only until you are all in the car on your way to the hospital.
