okay you guys, I've put all of the parts together. they're short but this story was originally made on Facebook so... yeah here it is!

It was his first day back from the tour. Four months without Luke....four months pregnant. During every Skype call you kept the camera off of your stomach, and each time you wanted so badly to tell him, to show him. But you held strong, and I practically killed you.

You stand at the gate thinking about when you first found out. You sat on the bathroom floor after staying home from work because you couldn't keep any food down. It wasn't until you best friend has mentioned pregnancy that it even crossed your mind, and then you found yourself waiting on the floor for her to come back from the drug store with one of every pregnancy test they had.

Every one of them turned out positive. You sat and cried with your friend for hours, but once it finally sank in you couldn't stop laughing. You both laughed and laughed. You were so happy.

But Luke had just left for the tour the day before. He left thinking that you were just sick, but he'd come back to the biggest surprise of his life.

You remember wanting to call him and tell him right away, but you were scared, your best friend came up with the idea to make it a surprise. So you kept it from him, and though you did once and a while feel guilty, imagining the look on his face when he sees you in the airport made it easier to keep it going.

So here you stand, a pregnant nervous wreck waiting for her boyfriend at the airport. You wanted your friend to come, but she said she wanted me to go alone to make it more special for the boys.

You fiddle with your fingers and pace back and fourth for about a half an hour until you finally see people coming out of the gate. You set you hands on your stomach and take a deep breath. It's not incredibly big yet but it is most definitely enough to tell that there's a baby in there.

You scan every face that shuffles out, and you're heart sleeps when you spot Michael's bright hair, knowing that Luke won't be far behind.

They walk slow at first, and you can't see Luke yet with them, which is strange considering how tall he is. Usually he towers in crowds. The boys make it out of the hallway, slumped over, not jumping around and joking with each other, not even talking to each other.

And Luke isn't with them.
