CHAPTER TWO:

Announcements

June 26th comes quickly and on the night that there supposed to announce who wins Juliet came over to my house and made me watch the announcement on MTV.

"And now," Harry announced "we are happy to announce that the winner of the One Direction Fan Week Contest is Miles Devenger of Graystone, South Carolina"

"OH MY GOD MILES!" Juliet screeches "YOU WON! YOU WON!"

(but what if he lost?! then where would the plot be?!)

"Great. Just great," I grunt as I glare at Juliet

Five guys from a boy band staying with me for a week. It's like some kind of stereotypical gay guy's fantasy. (or a wattpad boy band fan fiction writers fantasy.)

"To the fan watching we will arrive at your house on the 28th of June." Niall explains

"Shiiiiiiiiittttttt" I moan

The TV changes channels and I turn to look at Juliet. She's holding the remote flipping through the channels. I glare at her, it's her fault that this happened. I start mentally cussing her out. She turns, gives me a look and says: "What's wrong? You get to spend a week with One Direction!"

I growl at her. "It's time for you to go home"

"It's only five, my mom'll let me stay over here until at least ten" I give her a look of annoyance, and she gives me a look of "whatever."

"Alright fine" she says laughing a bit "but I'm telling your parents that One Direction's staying here" (well someone had to do it, and it obviously wasnt going to be miles.)

"Ugh!" I groan "don't make me remember"

She laughs and races towards the kitchen where my parents are.

"See ya" I call after her

She waves her hand at me as a way of saying goodbye.

"So what'd Miles win?" I hear my dad ask from the kitchen

"A contest I forced him to enter with me" Juliet answers

"What was the contest?" my mom asks

Juliet explains the contest to my parents while I try to figure out a way I can avoid it, but nothing really comes to mind.

After Juliet leaves my parents come in and talk to me and jokingly tell me that I need to stop listening to Juliet. Mom then makes a list for the food we'll need for the week to get tomorrow. I hate that my parents aren't doing anything to protest this.
