CHAPTER TWENTY:
Grizabella: The Bitchy Cat
"Hey Rosa" Miles says as we walk into the room
"Hey Miles" Rosa replies "hey Juliet"
"I'm sorry we're late" Juliet tells her
"Where's Jezibell and Lazerus?" Miles asks
(haha see what I did there with those names biblical names. ahhh, bible jokes. *wipes tear from laughter from my eye*)
"They're on vacation" Rosa anwers
"Together?" Juliet questionably asks
"No, no" Rosa answers "They went to different places, but at the same time"
"Oh..."
"I mean, it is summer after all" Rosa adds
"True, true" Juliet agrees
I walk around the room, looking at the different kittens and puppies in their kennels. Most of them look happy and playful, but there are a few who look unhappy. All of the animals in here are in seperate kennels, each lined with a bit of fresh and clean newspaper, and a small little bed, with a water dish filled with clean water, and a food dish filled with food.
"Hey Louis, Niall, Liam, Harry" I hear Zayn say from across the room
I turn to look at him, and see him holding up a young grey cat. It's fur is matted and ruff, and there's a gleam in its cat eyes that give me the impression that it is in some way evil.
"It's name is Grizabella, like in that play Cats" Zayn chuckles
Rosa looks up from feeding one of the smaller kittens, and sees Zayn holding up Grizabella.
"Uh, I wouldn't do that" she tells Zayn
"Why?" he asks
"Because we've named that cat Grizabella, and it's nickname is Grizabella: The Bitchy Cat"
(anyone ever seen the musical cats?)
"Hahaha that's funny" Zayn says "I still don't get why I shouldn't hold her though"
Then, Grizabella lunges one of her paws out and scratches Zayn on the arm.
"Ow!" he cries out, as he drops Grizabella.
We all laugh at Zayn, as we watch Grizabella land on her feet, after being dropped. She jumps back into her kennel. Zayn hurridly closes the door again.
