CHAPTER SIX:

The World According to Miles Part I

(you should know what this means.)

Juliet and I had been fighting over the TV remote when they had come in. We were not doing the dirty do. (i promised there would be no sex in this fanfiction, and i intend to keep that promise.) Juliet was wanting to watch some documentary about One Direction, but I became bent on preventing that. Which I was successful at, when they walked in.

"So what are we doing?" Harry asks

"I. . . Uh" I mumble

I have no idea what we were supposed to be doing or what we were going to do. I thought Juliet was going to plan all that stuff out.

I look over at her and she gives me a look that reads: "I don't fracking know!"

"What we mean," Niall explains "is what be there to do in this here town?" (what is his accent?)

What is there to do in Graystone? There's not much. We have a country club, a downtown market, a center for sports of all types, a put-put course, a park, and one movie theater that has seventeen screens to show seventeen different movies at a time, that aren't new movies but have already been released on DVD, and we have a play center which is home to five stages so five different plays can go on at a time.

What movies are playing? I think Carrie, The Green Mile, Little Shop of Horrors, The Blue Lagoon. I can't remember anything else that's showing.

"We have a movie theater that shows movies that are already out on DVD" I meekly say, unsure of myself (friggin' country hick.)

"Hahaha" Louis, Liam, Harry, Niall, and Zayn laugh "so your home tele set?"

Juliet and I look at them dead serious, we shake our heads.

"No." Juliet tells them "a real movie theater"

"Oh so you have one of those big screens in your house?" Zayn asks

"No" I say "an actual building downtown"

"Oh..." Zayn says

One Direction looks at us surprised and baffled that the only movie theater in town only shows movies that have already come out. (friggin country hick town, like i said.)

"It's free on Saturdays" I add in a sort of song like tone (and thirty-five cents on the weekdays.)

Juliet and I give forced smiles. Graystone isn't what we would call the most exciting town in America, but we have an embarrassed pride in our attractions. (need i say it again; hick town.)

"Well, let's go" Louis says

I go and get some money from my room for popcorn, and then we leave. As we walk outside I notice that the large tour bus that One Direction arrived in is missing. They must have been dropped off. They're basically stuck here for the week. (with no security, damn this isnt very realistic.)

I can't drive and neither can Juliet. Even if we could we didn't have a spare car between the two of us, so we walk down the street with Louis, Harry, Liam, Zayn, and Niall to the movie theater.
