CHAPTER ELEVEN:
The World According to Miles Part II
When we finished eating dinner, we head back to my house quickly, and quietly. So as to avoid being caught by the Johnsons. We get to my house quickly, probably because of the fact that we're only two houses away from mine. (#forcedsarcastichumor.)
When we get back to my house we put the dishesin the sink, for my kinky sex crazed mother to wash later. (just noting that there will be NO SEX WHAT SO EVER IN THIS BOOK.) We head back upstirs to the TV room, and turn it on. For a while we debate on what to watch, but after a few minutes we settle on a show on True TV, called World's Dumbest. As we laugh the few hours that stand between us and sunset away, I start to think to myself: Maybe they aren't so bad after all. Even if their music is terrible. (my opinion, and this characters opinion.)
As the sun set, the lightning bugs started to come out. They started to glow on and off repeatedly across the lawn and up and down the street. It gave a sense of a movie like feeling. It is as if I'm in a movie scene.
As time went on, and the lightning bugs, started going away, we each took "turns" slipping out of the group to change into our pajamas, and then slip back into the group.
