CHAPTER NINETEEN:
A New Part Time Job
Once again, we make our way over to Juliet's house, and ask her mom if we can use her car. Thankfully she says yes, and we rush outside and pile into and and take off towords the Humaine Society. As I drive, I repeatedly ask directions to it from Juliet, and Miles. We get there quickly and pile out and rush into the building. We are greeted by an older lady around my age (23 or 22, Wikipedia and IBMd both say something different, and those are my information sources, and yes i realize theyre not that reliable, but i dont care.)
"You're late" she says without even looking up, though I know she's referring to Juliet, and Miles.
"We overslept" Miles worridly says
The lady sighs and looks up, when she sees me and the rest of One DIrection her eyes widen a bit, but she tries to act like she doesn't care.
"It's fine" she says
"Thank you Matilda" Miles says
(fun fact: she isnt matilda wormwood, but i am watching the movie right now as i write this chapter.)
"Y'all need to hurry up and get to the puppy and kitten room to help with them" Matilda tells them "Rosa's been the only one in there all morning"
"Ok" Juliet says
Juliet and Miles start to run off.
"Hey, wait" Zayn shouts
They both stop and turn to look at us with a look of: Oh right they're here
"What are we supposed to do" Zayn asks
"Oh right" Juliet says "Have y'all had any experience handling young dogs and cats?"
"Yeah" we all reply
"Then y'all can come help" Miles says
"Well ok" Zayn says as we run after them to a large room, that's filled with kittens and puppys
"This doesn't look like it'll be bad" I say "Looks fun"
