She nodded her head and I kissed her again. I was fangirling in my head, ‘OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!’ I just couldn’t believe it! Something I just blurted out and didn’t mean to say ended up getting me a girlfriend!

I pulled back, looked into her eyes, and smiled. She smiled back. Then she kissed me again. I began gently pushing my body weight against her until eventually she was lying on the cement. Without breaking the kiss, I positioned myself on top of her with my legs on either side of hers. As soon as I stopped moving around, she wrapped her arms around my neck and turned her head slightly sideways to deepen the kiss. It kept getting more and more intense until she snuck her tongue into my mouth and I had sparks rush through my body. Damn it felt so good. The entire time all I could think was, ‘Don’t ruin this. Don’t screw up.’ and I felt so many butterflies in my stomach.

I let it go on for about another minute before I pulled away, backed off a bit, and we both sat up. Then she looked at me and I gently grabbed her face with both my hands. I gazed into her eyes and she gazed into mine. I then looked down at her slightly parted lips and longed to feel them against mine just once more, which was what I made happen. This time the kiss was soft but full of passion. I was aiming to be as delicate as possible to tease her senses. I couldn’t believe how amazing the slightest touches felt. I eventually reclaimed possession of my lips, only to loose control of them and form a smile across my face.

She mimicked my action before asking softly, “Whaddaya say I give you your gift now?”

“You mean that wasn’t it?” I question Lindsay, still cupping her face in my hands, “Cuz that was pretty damn amazing.”

Lindsay’s gift ended up being lessons in karate. She stated she chose that because, and I quote, ‘Trust me, they’ll come in handy.’

After that, we walked hand-in-hand all the way back to the base. Riley was there and saw us holding hands, but he didn't mention anything. I knew it bothered him so I let go of her hand after not too long. I could tell his jaw was clenched and his eyes were ever so slightly narrowed. It was like he wanted to glare and scowl at me but held it back with all he could.

It had gotten dark out a while ago so Riley said, "I think I'm going to go to sleep now."

"Me too." I said, feeling somewhat exhausted from the day.

Lindsay gave Riley and I a good night hug and kissed both of us on the cheek before getting into bed as well.
