Giovanni:

We indeed are in the next show - so we're of course in a very happy spirit while being on the way to rehearsals. We're telling jokes to each other, laughing and talking about our next dance, which will be Theatre Jazz. Every dance couple has the opportunity to dance a so-called Couple's Choice, which means to choose one dance out of the following: Theatre Jazz, Contemporary or Streetdance. We chose Theatre Jazz, for the obvious.

"I'm so excited for our dance!" Faye says happily. "What do you think? Have you already got a choreography in mind?"

"Sure I do and it definitely will be amazing. I mean, just look at your talented choreographer!" I joke.

"Yeah, you're my talented choreographer!" she tells me, giggling. "But you're even more talented in dancing itself."

"I can't deny that." I say amused. "And as I'm dancing with you, we look amazing anyways."

"You're also talented at making compliments." she laughs. It's stunning how she slowly gets more confident - I actually have made her more confident ever since we met and this confidence suits her so much! And with this beautiful smile, I love her even more- wait. Have I just said that I love her? Okay it gladly was only in my thoughts but- but I can't love her or can I? And most importantly, am I actually in love with her? I have no ides.

"Now come on, let's practice our dance!" I say instead, hoping to interrupt my own thoughts that way.

Just as we walk to the dance studio where we're usually rehearsing at, I see these journalists walking straight towards us. Faye doesn't even realize that they want to talk to us, until they stop with their cameras next to us. "Hello." Faye greets them politely.

"Can you tell us anything about your partnership? Are these articles about your affair true? We heard about your affair!" they shout interested, ignoring what she said.

Really, an affair? I know they're thinking like that because of our dance, as we played a couple in the Foxtrot, but honestly - they interpret an affair into this dance? Apart from the fact that we technically wouldn't have an affair anyway, it's just ridiculous.

Faye looks at me and I see the smile literally dropping from her face. I can't tell if she's angry with them or sad about these affair claims - but I know all too well that this reminds her of when media wrote about an affair between and her bandmate. This makes me so incredibly angry, I can't even tell. I wish to just take her in my arms, to whisper soothing words and hoping this wouldn't end in a panic attack.

I make a step towards the journalists, staring at them with the most angry face possible. "We don't have anything to say about this." I growl.

"There's no affair." Faye suddenly says, pure nervousness reflecting on her face.

"But we were told that-"

"Whatever you know" I say them, trying to sound as nice as possible, "It doesn't matter. We are both single, so technically there's no affair."

"So are you confirming your relationship?" they ask. Really? They don't understand - or maybe they don't want to understand.

"We just said that it technically is no affair." Faye tells them, sounding even more angry. Fair to say, I didn't expected her to be that angry especially because I hadn't seen her being angry at all before.

"But you were also seen holding hands."

"Why not? We're dance partners, we could also dance to the studio, if we want to." I explain.

"In your last dance, you seemed very close."

"Yes, of course - because it was part of our dance!" Faye replies.
