Faye:

Gladly we've got this weeked off. Don't get me wrong, I love performing - but I love spending time with Giovanni too. He's still busy with planning on his new dance show but since he's able to work from home, we're able to spend the weekens together before I'll go back to the theatre.

Whilst he's upstairs and working, I'm in the kitchen and preparing dinner. Okay, let's say I try ro prepare dinner. Lisa gave me this amazing receipt for a lovely Asian dish and I try to follow every bit of the description; hoping I would actually manage to create a decent lunch.

I mean, I can make sandwiches and salad and thanks to Giovanni I now also am able to make spaghetti that aren't already halfway done when being bought... although I'm really not a talented cook.

Smiling proudly about the decent looking dinner I actually created, I take out my phone and take a picture. I feel really proud of myself so I have to send a picture into the Steps groupchat.

'Look what I did!' I type in my message before sending it, alongside the picture of the dinner.

It doesn't even take a minute before Claire answers. 'Wow Fluff, that looks amazing! You can be so proud! Lots of love xx'

I smile at her response and shortly after my smile increases when seeing H's message, teasing as usual. 'Am I seeing correctly? Our Fluff made a decent lunch? That means we're invited soon doesn't it?'

I can practically see his smile and am unable to hide a laugh as well. I quickly type a response, seeing that they're invited as soon as I'm done with the musical. I then put the dishes onto a tray, putting down two glasses too and a flower I bought at a shop earlier. Yes I know it's maybe a bit cliche... but Giovanni does so much to me and I want to give something back - even if it's just making lunch. Something he does constantly.

I shake these thoughts off and take the tray, slowly walking upstairs. Arriving in front of the door to Gio's I hesitate for a moment, wondering whether I should really walk in. What if he is busy and doesn't want to see me now? Gosh, get some confidence, I snap at myself.

Still not confident about my actions, I knock on the door and wait for the signal to open. "Come in, beauty." Giovanni says friendly. As soon as I walk in, he looks at me with surprise when seeing the tray and the dishes. "Wow. Did you... did you made that?"

"No our goat that we keep in the garden." I say sarcastically. "I mean- yes. Yes I did that. Well Lisa gave me the receipt."

"That looks insane! Is my beauty practicing to be my personal chef?" he asks with a grin, gesturing for me to sit down on his lap. I place down the tray and nervously play with my hair, looking somewhere else. "Bad joke?" Giovanni asks. "Beauty I hope you know that you don't need to knock."

l nod, allowing a sigh to escape. "I know. I just... just thought- it reminded me-" I trail off, realising that my words make absolutely no sense so it's probably better to keep quiet. Giovanni obviously notices that something's up so he immediately puts his work aside, stroking through my hair.

"What's up? Remember that I told you how important it is to talk about your feelings?"

I sigh. "Okay. Back then when... you know... he and I were still together I once came into his room without knocking. He went mad and- and hit me. I'd told the band I walked into a door but my eye was blue and my cheekbone was swollen. I just got scared for a moment."

His expression softens and - what saddens me most - is that he looks clearly upset. "Faye... I wouldn't ever hit you. I would never me angry with walking into my room without knocking. Puppet, please believe me." he says with a sad smile. He hugs me tightly and we remain in a hug for a good while.
