Faye:
Our Theatre Jazz truly went incredibly great in the live show. We were at the top of the leaderboard, although we hadn't got a perfect score as Craig still found some criticism, despite saying the dance was amazing. That's okay though, it's actually exciting to still have opportunities for improvement.
Also just wants to give a bit more critism than the other judges and it's definitely not like I'm angry with him. Because to be honest, I'm really proud of Giovanni and myself. Especially because, to me, he's really an amazing teacher. Not only that, he's also very lovely - especially when we were dancing our Foxtrot. That dance made me realise how nice he is and that he's a wonderful person. But well, we're dance partners and probably nothing else. So whatever, I should stop being so weird and stop thinking he would actually like me more than just a dance partner.
However whenever I'm around him, it's like - I don't know - like I'm happier and more excited than usual. I get nervous and shy but also absolutely happy. Am I falling in love with him? I can't tell but even if I do, Giovanni most likely wouldn't like me back. It's upsetting but it's probably the truth.
So back to the actual subject. Our new dance is a ballroom dance again - a Tango to be exact and we both agree with the fact that we would prefer a latin dance, even if most of the dances are fun to me. I still am hoping for a Charleston though, especially after seeing Ashley and Pasha's Charleston; sure their costumes were odd but their dance was brilliant.
The dance I liked the most so far was the Theatre Jazz for obvious reasons but I also really liked our Foxtrot. That dance made me feel happy and in love and- wait. No, I should neither think or behave like this.
Okay, anyways. As for now I'm standing with Kate and Ashley, while Giovanni and the other pros are rehearsing for their individual dance. I watch them in fascination; still doing my best to listen to the others though.
"I really need to improve my dancing." Kate says during our conversation. "Or otherwise I might be in the dance-off. I have to dance an Argentine Tango and Aljaž is really convinced that it'll be as as good as our Tango. Our Rumba last week was less good though."
"The Rumba is a difficult dance." I admit. "But I'm certain that you're not going to be in the dance-off. In all honesty, the Argentine Tango suits you more. You'll be great."
Kate nods, although she doesn't seem convinced about what I said.
"The Foxtrot is a rather boring dance." Ashley says to us after a while.
"I told you this dance isn't as entertaining as the Charleston." Kate laughs.
"Yeah, the Charleston is quite entertaining, indeed." Ashley replies amused.
"Just watch out that the media won't write about an affair between you and Pasha just because you danced an romantic Foxtrot." I say to her before even thinking of it. Damn it, I hadn't intended to say that.
"What?" Ashley asks.
I sigh. "They wrote that about Giovanni and me, when we danced the Foxtrot. They assume we're a couple because we looked so close and - apparently - so loved up."
"Well you looked sweet indeed." Kate admits. "Which doesn't mean anything except that you portrayed it well."
"Honestly, you look really cute together." Ashley admits with a laugh.
"He's my dance partner, we're not a couple." I say, although I agree that Giovanni and me actually do look cute together on our pictures. But oh my, I shouldn't behave like that. Back then when the band was performing here at Strictly and we were celebrating with the pros, I already behaved quite flirty towards Giovanni. Obviously I shouldn't be as intrusive as I behave at the moment. No wonder that the journalists thought we're having an affair. It's all my fault; of course it's all my fault. I'm such a disappointment.
