A Strictly Meeting

Faye: 

We meet with a cast of Strictly at a cafe that is located in the city, perfectly for most of us to find. As we arrive a few people are already there, talking with excitement as they exchange their thoughts about recent events. Fair to say, some of us didn't saw each other at all since the show ended. 

I spot Aljaž and Gorka, immediately recognising them since they were at our house a few times recently for planning the new dance show. Of course they're all accompanied by their respective dance partners - and partners - and I wave at them with a grin before walking towards them. "Hello!" Aljaž greets us, grinning back. "Nice to see you."

"Nice to see you too." I reply shyly. "And good to see most of the cast here as well."

"Yeah, a few of them weren't that interested in joining us, but if they don't want to meet with us - well, whatever." he explains, shrugging. 

"Some of them weren't interested in hanging out with us during the show itself either." Gorka adds. "By the way, that's my girlfriend Gemma." he introduces her to me. Of course I know her from watching the show but we hadn't met in person yet.

"Hey Gemma." I greet friendly. 

"Hey Faye. Might I just say, you were great at Strictly! So many good dances!" she smiles. 

"Aw thank you. You were great too, I loved your Charleston." I say, recalling Gemma's Charleston all too well. Her and Aljaž had danced to 'The Bare Necessities' from the Jungle book movie. Gemma smiles at these words before her and Gorka walk over to join some other pros.

"See, Gorka even has his girlfriend with him. You don't need to feel guilty for coming along to watch my dance show." Giovanni explains. I smile at him before looking around in the bar to search for who else is there; spotting Ashley and Pasha standing close to each other while talking to Charles. Not knowing if I should walk over I simply keep standing around rather awkwardly, wondering what to do. They're all enclosed in a conversation, what if I only bother them? Well Giovanni always tries to explain me that I don't bother him or others - but what if he's just saying that because he wants to be nice? 

However, before being able to think more about this, Ashley walks towards me with a flashing smile. "Hey sweetie! I'm so happy to see you!" she exclaims happily. "Come over to us, I bet you missed Pasha and Charles too." 

She pulls me over to them, greeting Giovanni only quickly as we walk past him and the others before putting her arm around my shoulders like you would do with a good friend. Well, that's what we are and actually it's also something I really appreciate about Ashley, she's so confident. 

"Guys, I guess Faye doesn't know what to talk at all, so let's make her join our conversation, should we?" Ashley explains. She tells me how they were talking about several topics around Strictly or other series they like to watch, or about the weather which is truly great at the moment. After a while of talking about these things, Ashley takes me aside with a grin. "I need to tell you something, but don't tell the others yet, okay?"

I nod, wondering what she wants to say. 

"Pasha and me are in a relationship now."

"What, really? Congratulations!" I exclaim happily. "You're cute together, Giovanni already said how much you and Pasha would actual fit as a couple. They might should consider now to name the show 'Strictly Come Dating' or what do you think?" I laugh, still recalling a similar conversation I'd had with Luba not long ago.

Ashley grins at these words. "Loving that idea. And you know, I'm really happy too - but I don't want all of the cast to know about this relationship yet. You probably understand that, as you and Giovanni didn't told everyone about your relationship too at the start." she continues, talking a bit more silent so the others wouldn't hear about what our conversation is. "You know, our relationship is relatively new if you like to say it like that. We don't want people to question us about our love, especially no journalists."
