*After school*
I gathered my things and walked outside. As soon as I walked out I saw a black G-Wagon with Asher sitting in the driver's seat. I got into the car and texted my mom where I was going.
There was a moment of silence before Asher spoke. “I have to stop at the library to get a book.”
“You really are a nerd.” I laughed.
“Have you ever even read a book?”
“Nope.” I replied.
“Oh my gosh. I'm gonna find you a book.” He promised.
We arrived at the library and went inside.
I followed him into a section full of romance novels.
“Ah here it is.” Asher pulled out a book that had no cover on it.
He handed me the book. “There there isn't a title.”
“that's the fun part.”
“What's it about?”
“A girl and a prince.” He explained.
“Boringgg.” I tossed it behind me.
“This one. It's about a girl who is gonna die.”
“Bye.” I tossed it with the other book.
“This one you'll love. Its my favorite. It's about a girl who meets a prince but he doesn't love the prince she loves someone else. It's an amazing book. Take it.”
“I hate reading.”
“You see I used to hate reading and then I read this book. Trust me you'll love it.”
“Ok fine.” I took the book and we checked out.
*Asher's house*
His house was huge almost like a mansion. He had a big doorway and a balcony above it.
“Omg.” My mouth graped open at the sight of the house.
“It's nothing.” He argued.
“What the heck do you mean. Its beautiful.”
He opened the tall doors and revealed a gorgeous hallway with paintings and pictures on the walls. We walked into the dining room that had a small table with four chairs and a living room right beside it with a L shaped couch and a wide tv.
I followed up a carpeted staircase and into his room. It was probably the smallest one in the house but it was still huge. He had posters everywhere mostly movie posters and album covers.
“Come on I have some ideas.” He pulled out a notebook full of ideas. “A rube goldberg”
“A rube what?”
“A rube goldberg.” He laughed.
“What the heck is that?”
“It's hard to explain I'll show you a video.” He pulled out his phone and showed me a video of a rube goldberg.
“That's too hard.” I complained
“No it's not. Were doing it.” He insisted.
“Fine.” I gave in.
“Ok so I-” he started but I got lost in his eyes. His eyes were a gorgeous green. The one that models have but he wasn't a model he was so much more than that so much better than that.
“Annie. Why are you staring at me?” He laughed.
“What. Oh my God I'm sorry. Sometimes I get lost in a daydream.” I explained.
He put his head in his hands and rested his elbows on the table. “What were you daydreaming about?” He asked.
I got into the same position and said “nothing.”
He grinned and started planning out our project.
