I thought I found someone new, someone better than you

“Hey kenz.” I said as I walked over to her. “I'm glad you're ok.”
“why should you be glad? You made it clear you didn't want to be my friend. Why are any of you here? We were best friends and then you guys just turned against me.” Kenzie said.
“Well you have to remember that you weren't always there for us like when we were for you.” Bella pointed out.
“I don't want to talk to any of you!” Kenzie yelled and a nurse outside ushered us all out.
“well I couldn't say I was surprised that was gonna happen.” Ashton said once we all got outside her room.
“Annie?” Asher said.
“Just take me home.” I told him.
He nodded and took me to his car.
We drove home in silence and I stared out the window the whole time.
We got to my house.
“Thank you. I really needed this. I don't think I could have lasted the day without you.”  
“I'm always here for you. I'm not going anywhere.”  Asher assured me.
I reached over and kissed him. His lips tasted like strawberry and his lips were soft.
I climbed over to sit on his lap and the smell of his cologne filled my nose.
Asher put his hands on my waist while I had mine on his legs.
I let go and asked “can you stay the night?”
Asher nodded and we went to his house to get his stuff.

I took out my phone and went on Instagram.
With no surprise my post got 2,000 likes and 500 comments. I scrolled through the comments.

“What's wrong?” Asher asked. I quickly turned off my phone and responded with “nothing”
“Give me your phone.” He said as he put his hand out.
I rolled my eyes and gave him my phone.
“Asher is such a nerd lol. Hes hot..not.”  Asher read. “that's funny but don't listen to them.”
“Okay. I wont.” I said confidently.
Asher looked over to me and smiled.
