I opened my locker and put my books for math and English in my bag and grabbed my lunch. My white board fell off my locker wall and all the magnets went everywhere.
“I'll help you with that.” Asher surprised me.
Normally Asher goes to the library before going to the cafeteria so I wasn't expecting him.
“thanks.” I said.
I closed my locker and we walked to lunch holding hands.
“There they are!” Johnny Orlando yelled getting up from sitting down.

has probably dated every girl in the school except me
does that to hide the fact that he's actually gay

“What do you want John?” I titled my head and crossed my arms.
“You used to be able to get any guy. I mean I would date you.” Johnny said.
“You definitely couldn't get me.” I shot back. I heard a lot of “ooo"s and “roasted”
“Aww why wouldn't you want to date me?”
“Probably because you're gay.” Johnny's face went from smirking to embarrassed.
“Well Asher's never had a girlfriend!” Johnny yelled. “He was too busy being a nerd. No one would want to date him.”
Asher slammed his fist on the table and stood up making me jump. “Yea why would anyone want to date me?”
Asher stormed away. “Asher!” I yelled trying to follow him.
“No annie, just..don't.”
I was left standing like a fool tear drops falling down my eyes.
I turned around and walked up to johnny.
“Why would you say that? Why?” I yelled. Anger started to build up I'm me. I started pushing and hitting Johnny like I would when I was younger.
“JULIANNA LEBLANC!” Principal Harris yelled. “Come with me.”
I wiped my tears away from my face and followed him out.
“What was that about?” He asked.
“Ya know...mood swings.” I lied.
He looked at me knowing I was lying.
“Johnny was just saying some mean stuff.”
He nodded his head.
“What did he say?”
“Well he was just making fun of Asher.”
“Oh your boyfriend.”
I nodded.
“Wheres Asher?” he asked.
“I don't know he stormed out.” I explained. “I don't think he wants to talk to me.”
“Well go make him talk to you.” Principal Harris said. “when I was in high school, no matter how mad my girlfriend was i would talk to her until she forgave me.”
“Okay, I'll go talk to him.” I replied.
“After detention today after school.”
I rolled my eyes. “Fine.”
