We were friends who realized they didn't want to be without each other. We were the other's opposites in many ways but also so similar. I couldn't call our relationship fate, but it did seem bigger than anything I'd known anything before.

“Kenzie told me.” Jayden broke the silence in the car.
“Told you what.” I said acting like there wasn't anything for kenzie to tell her.
“About you and Asher.”
“Jayden..”
“Its fine. Plus you guys look cute together.”
“Really? You're just okay with it?”
“Yea.”
“Funny because kenzie obviously isn't.”
“Well kenzie will be kenzie and he's really cute.” Jayden joked.
“He is.” Jayden and I laughed. It was nice to have someone who didn't care that I was dating Asher.
“I was gonna talk to her today. She's just so toxic and….horrible.”
“Tell me about it. I can go with you if you want.” I offered.
“Please..I cannot alone. I was gonna have addison come with me.”
“Let's all go. Make it a party.” I joked.
“Haha got it.”

I walked to my locker and Ashton was leaning against it on his phone.
“Um excuse me.”  Ashton moved.
“Annie I need some advice.” He told me and I looked at him confused.
“About what?”
“Kenzie.” He said. “I hate her.”
“Oh then break up with her.”
“I-I just don’t know how to.”
“Well the girls and I are going to talk to her later about our friendship.(I said while doing bunny ears with my hands.) So you should come with us.”
“When?”
“Right now.”
“Oh god ok.”
I closed my locker and we went to find the other girls.
“Hey annie!” Addison yelled from behind me.
“Hey guys we were just about to find you.”
“What is Ashton doing here?” Bella asked disgusted.
“Uh-.”
“I'm breaking up with Kenzie.”
“oh. ok then.” Bella said awkwardly.
“Let's go.” I said.

We went to her classroom which she wasn't in so we walked to the bathroom and her locker but she wasn't in those places either.
“Maybe she's just skipping.” Jayden suggested.
“Yeah. Let's just talk to her at lunch.” I told them.
“No. I want to do this now. If I do it later I'll doubt my decision and I won't do break up with her.”
“Fin-”
“Yeah so just call me whenever you're free and I'll try and make time for you. I appreciate you coming to me.” A familiar voice said around the corner.
“Well not many people are good at math.” A girl laughed.
I walked around the corner and saw kenzie and Johnny standing apart at arms length.
“Kenzie. We were looking everywhere for you.” I said.
“Why?” She asked confused.
“There's something we need to tell you.” Bella told her.
