Kyung-Mi POV

My hair stylist was currently getting my hair done while I looked at my phone for entertainment while I wait. Once again I'm finding another Kyung-Hope post. I never REALLY understood why it's currently such a popular ship. I mean yes we've gotten close over the month I've been here but other than that we've both been busy with our own schedules. I figured that we would once again have almost no interaction whatsoever since my dressing was all the way on the other side of the large hall. I was currently singing two of my songs since they were the ones I would be singing, both of which were from my debut album:
Into You (Yuri)
Gotta Go (Chungha)

I had just finished singing Into You when I heard a knock at my door.

"Come in!" I said as my stylist finished straightening the last strand of my hair. This allowed me to turn my chair around to see the person at the door.

"Hello Kyung-Mi." My manager walked in with a smile. "So I just found out that you will be presenting one of the awards with Seventeen's Jeonghan after you perform."

"Really? Which award?" I asked. I mainly wondered who I would have to give the award to.

"You will be presenting the Best New Male Artist." She said.

"Okay so it's right after my performance correct?" I say wondering if would have to run to the second smaller stage in front of the larger one in 3 inch heels. It would be a little challenging cause I would one:
Just have finished dancing 2 two songs and most likely be tired.

And two:
Have to run as fast as possible in order to make it next to Jeonghan by the time the camera cut to where we were supposed to stand.

Oh and did I mention I'm wearing heels?...

"Well it's not EXACTLY after your performance." She says. This made me sigh in relief which made her slightly chuckle. "There will be a group of talented 12-14 year olds who will be dancing a mashup of songs so you can get to the second stage and be relaxed by the time they are done."

Thank goodness cause if not then I would have dashi run run run all the way to the second stage.

"Okay." I say grabbing my dress to change. "Where exactly will I be sitting in the idol's area?"

"You will sit in between EXO's Baekhyun and Twice's Jihyo." My manager said as she excused herself from the room so I could change.

I finished changing and left to my seat. My seat wasn't too far into the middle so I figured that I should try to bow to everyone I passed. Until I noticed that I would have to get past Red Velvet, NCT 127, and EXO.

I was slightly nauseous by the end of it but I still bowed to Jihyo and sat down. I could see BTS sitting in the row in front of me to my left. I wanted to say Hi but all of IZ*One was sitting in front of me so I would have to shout a little.

I honestly didn't want to shout, and if they didn't hear me then that would be embarrassing. After a while of keeping to myself I decided to talk to Jihyo a little. But before I could open my mouth she spoke first.

"You're Mimi, right?" She said.

"Y-yes I am, but you can call me Kyung-Mi if you'd prefer that." I replied nervously. I wanted to make a good impression since we would have to sit next to each other this whole time.

"Alright then Kyung-Mi. I'm Jihyo." She said with a reassuring smile. "Just thought I'd introduce myself since we're sitting next to each other."

"Oh yea I guess that's reasonable." I respond.

"So, how old are you? I'm guessing you're younger than me since you bowed once you got here."

"I was born in 1997." I respond.

"Oh me too!" She said.

"Really? I haven't met other idols my age other than Jungkook." I say.

"Oh well here I am." She smiles. "So, how's it feel being an idol so far? "

"Well to be honest, it's kind of really hard." I say. "I never expected to be away from my family this much or be this tired. But other than that, my fans are amazing and giving me a lot of support as well as my family. "

"Well that's good to hear, trust me, it will all get easier from here." She said. "It's never entirely easy from the start but you will soon get used to everything and learn to become stronger from it."

"Is it easy for you right now?" I say curiously.

"Well not completely but it was definitely harder when I first debuted." She said.

"Let me guess, you had to non stop practice your songs until you could practically do them in your sleep." I say. It was what I had to do right now with No One (Lee Hi), Into You (Yuri) , and Siren(Sunmi).

"Exactly. Let me guess you're doing that right now." She says.

"Yup." I say with a slight sigh. "I honestly thought I was the only one who had to deal with this.

"Yea well.... I don't think there is anything we can really do about it since that is just how companies run." She says. Suddenly the lights turned off as the MAMAs started.
