~Kyung-Mi POV~

We had gotten back to Seoul about 2 weeks ago and I'm glad the guys respect my decision on forgetting the whole fiasco that happened in Busan.

The company however, isn't so forgiving for the issue.

I had to meet with my manager since fans knew I was back and constantly asked to see me in front of a camera again to make sure that I'm completely okay. I'm sure they don't mean anything bad but I don't think they realize the full situation I went through.

Knock. Knock.

"Come in."

"Hello Manager-nim." I bow. "You wanted to speak with me? "

"Yes I did. As you know you've been gone for 3 weeks from any schedule, including the days when we hadn't found you. Am I correct?" She began. I nod in response.

"Then I can't possibly expect you to prepare for your comeback in a month. You only know half of the dances we expect you to learn. So we will push it back by another month. " She says. "And I'm sure you aren't comfortable being in front of the camera right?"

"No. I mean I don't have a problem with it but I will be nervous about everything I say considering that me being on a jumbotron at my concert is what caused it." I respond.

"In that case, I'm thinking that we should slowly reintroduce you to the spotlight. How does that sound?" She suggests.

"Like how?" I question.

"Well we could start with you doing a Vlive. I know that might make your nervousness rise even more but you can be anywhere and with anyone you feel safe with. Eventually of course there is no training for being on TV so that will be a straight shot towards the spotlight." She says. "Understand? I understand that you are scared but this is your occupation. You cannot be afraid of it. "

"I understand....Oh but what about the duet? I still haven't found anyone." I ask hardly being able to remember it was still something I had to do.

"You haven't? Well then I guess that's good news for me then."

Wait what.

"Good news? How is that possibly good news?" I ask dumbfounded.

"Well you see Kyung-Mi, yesterday I got a call from someone who was willing to do the duet with you." She said. "As a matter of fact, I asked them to come today." She got up from her desk.

"Who the hell would know? The only people who know are manager-nim, me, and..... Wait a second."

She looked out her door in anticipation for something 'till her face lit up.

"Ah there you are!" She said, pleased. "Come in. " She stepped aside to let whoever in."

"Hoseok?"

"Hey Kyung-Mi." He scratched the back of his head. He sat in the second chair in front of her desk.

"He called me yesterday saying that he would like to do the duet with you, as a matter of fact, he said he came up with a beat for it." She sits back in her chair. "I appreciate you both coming today. I'll let you talk about it in your own time. All I ask is that you have lyrics done by Wednesday. You will do the recording then. Understood? I'm giving you 5 days."

We nod in response.

"Great. I can't wait to hear it." She turns on her computer. "You are dismissed."

We both get up and leave the room. We begin to pointless wander around the halls.

"Sooo~, when do you wanna try writing some lyrics? Come to think of it, you do write your own lyrics right? I've never seen you doing what Yoongi, Namjoon, and I have done. You're usually on your phone. "

"Oh you just have no idea. All my lyrics are on my phone." I say raising it. "You guys do it the old fashioned way with notepads, I prefer to keep them with me so when I come up with something I just type it. "

"So how many songs do you have in your phone right now?" He asks raising a brow.

"I think 1 or 2. I basically started on a clean slate because all the old ones are being used for my comeback." I respond. "I even named them." I open my phone to check.

"Scratch that. I'm done with one, and am working on another. The one that's done isn't named but the one in progress is called " Stay With Me".

"Can I see them?" He asks reaching for my phone. I give him my phone. "Woah, well this one is a no for a duet."

"What do you- Oh." I respond seeing the one he opened.

It was a song that involved multiple high notes along with a double high note. I could've easily been the one to sing those verses but that wasn't the problem.

The problem was that the song was about a girl who recently found out her boyfriend was having an affair with another girl. The song is her realizing how he mistreated her the whole time throughout their relationship and how he basically took her love for granted.

"You okay? This is some deep stuff. " He questioned scanning through the lyrics.

"I swear it has never happened to me. I just felt that next comeback I should focus on a more serious concept. But the concept isn't for me to decide so this song has just been sitting there for a while. " I assure him. It's true. The song has been sitting in my phone since my producers and manager have always chosen sexy or cute concepts for me.

"Well then how about this one? You've started this one pretty well. Everytime I close my eyes, Oh I always see those eyes...." He began reading the lyrics aloud. I myself became a little embarrassed since I came up with these verses when Hoseok was the only one on my mind. I only listened as he continued to read however.

"....So I wanted to forget, all the pain since we first met, if this isn't real, someone wake me up from this dream, please..... Hey wait a minute these three verses all have the same thing." He looked from the phone to me.

"Hm? Oh. Yeah. I know. I wanted to add something in between them but I had no idea what. " I respond.

"Hmmmmm. Hey send this to me. I think I know what to add." He asks.

"Oh sure. That works best I guess. We can both add on to the song in our own time." I agree. I sent him the lyrics. We said bye. We went our separate ways. Now my question was: what would he be able to add? I was head over heels when I made this. What if what he adds doesn't have the same emotion to it as mine?
