Happy Halloween 2019!

This is more of a one-shot type of thing. It is not canon to the actual book.

~Kyung-Mi POV~

"Everyone ready to go!?" Namjoon shouted from downstairs. We were headed to a Halloween party hosted by Mnet. Everyone of course had their costumes on.

Jin was Mario.

Yoongi was a Zombie.

Hoseok was Thor.

Namjoon was in a Koya onesie.

Jimin was Pennywise.

Taehyung was an inflatable sumo wrestler.

Jungkook was an inflatable dinosaur.

And I was a Greek goddess.

As expected, the inflatables caused Jungkook and Taehyung to need to take a different van only because they refused to deflate themselves.

We didn't have to tease them about "needing supervision" like we always do since those things denied all interaction within at least 8 inches.

At the party there were other groups there, obviously. Everyone else was chatting with their buddies from other groups while I just stayed at our table.

I've never been the easiest person to get to socialize. I simply decide to stay with the people I know but that wasn't the case right now.

"Hey your Mimi right?" I heard someone say. I turn and get slightly startled to see a vampire sitting in the chair next to me.

"Oh sorry, didn't mean to scare you." He apologized. "I'm Sunghak. Jung Sunghak."

"Oh yeah, I know you. You're a friend of Hoseok's right?" I respond.

"Yea. Anyway how are you?" He asks suddenly.

"Oh I'm good. And you?" I ask. This seemed like some harmless small talk so I didn't mind keeping it up however, I did have the slight feeling of being watched.

"Oh believe me when I say this... " He leans in slightly closer. "My day got so much better knowing that a real goddess was at this party."

"Spoke too soon.... " I thought to myself.

I myself leaned back slightly. I felt something behind me. I look up to find Hoseok looking not so happy with Sunghak.

"Dude I said off limits." He said as he pulled Sunghak out of the chair.

"Awww come on man. You don't seem to be doing anything anyway." Sunghak responded.

"Fine then." Hoseok ended the conversation as he pulled me from my chair and out onto the outdoor area of the large ballroom the party was in that was just a garden.

I was slightly pushed against the bricks and caged between his two arms.

"H-Hoseo-"

"I'm sorry about this." He stared down at the ground. "You must be so confused."

"I- I guess you could call it that...." I bit my lip looking off to the side.

"So I'll just get straight to the point." He says, finally looking up at me straight in the eye. "I like you. A lot."

"I... " I was shocked. Inside I was freaking out. I guess I took to long to answer though.

"Right... " He looks back down. "I understand.... " He turns around.

"W-wait." I quickly back hug him, afraid to let go. "I'm sorry for taking so long. I was just in shock. I promise. I like you too. A lot." I swore I could hear his heartbeat. The same way he could probably hear mine.

Suddenly he turns around and cups my cheeks in his hands.

"I don't know if this is too sudden but.... I've waited too long." He says. "Please. Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Of course." I smile cupping one of his hands with mine smaller one, leaning onto it.

He smiles before pulling me in and kissing me. It was a sweet kiss. One that we cherished.

When we pulled apart, we hugged as he rested his chin on my head. He let out a sigh of satisfaction. We spent the next few minutes of our lives looking at the beautiful garden before us.

They couldn't have been better spent.
