~No POV~

A month later Kyung-Mi was called into her manager's office. She knocks on the door.

"Come in!" She hears from inside. She walks into the office to find her manager typing away on her computer. "Ah hello Kyung-Mi, did you need something?"

"Actually you were the one who called me, manager-nim." She responds.

"I did? Oh yes now I remember. We need to talk about your comeback, how is it going so far?" She asks.

"It's going just fine. Why?" Kyung-Mi responds. She wasn't lying though. She was doing well during the practices as well as doing great on her vocals.

"Well I was thinking that maybe it was time you did a duet with someone." Her manager begins. "We're losing sales and your fans are asking for it."

"A duet? How are we going to have enough time to make one with my comeback being 2 months away?." Kyung-Mi says dumbfounded.

"Kyung-Mi I know it might seem impossible but your going to have to try your best. If it means practicing more then practice more. I just know you have to find someone who is willingly going to do it with you." Her manager says. It's obvious that this wasn't an option.

"I'll try my best but what if I don't find someone?" Kyung-Mi asked wondering what the consequences would be if she didn't.

"I guess we'll just keep losing sales, and that means we'll lose money, so that means we won't do as many promotions, one thing leads to another I guess." Her manager said.

"Okay, I'll try to find someone manager-nim." Kyung-Mi said already thinking of her options.

"Good. You are dismissed." Her manager said returning to her computer. Kyung-Mi bows before exiting the room.

I have no idea whether I should be asking who? or how?

Since she was in the building, Kyung-Mi decided that she could practice for her comeback. She always passes by BTS and TXT's practice rooms since her's was at the end of the hall.

They were both empty when she first passed by but she could now hear music coming from one of them. She checked TXT's room, they were just playing but no music. She then went and checked BTS's room.

The more she heard the song as she drew nearer to the door, the more she actually liked the tune. It was soft and slow.

It's probably Jimin.. She thought to herself since Jimin was usually the one practicing at this time of day. She went to the practice room to find that it wasn't Jimin at all.

Kyung-Mi finds Hoseok dancing to a song that didn't have any lyrics to it, it was just the beat, and yet it still looked so mesmerizing.

The song ended shortly after Kyung-Mi got to the door. She had been watching through the slightly open door the whole time.

Hoseok grabbed his water that was in front of him and drank it. When he placed it back down and looked up into the mirror he jumped slightly. He turned around to face the door.

He saw Kyung-Mi looking at him through the slightly open door. They kept silent eye contact for a while before Kyung-Mi broke it.

"Ah sorry Hoseok I-I didn't mean to stare. It's just, that song was really nice and the way you danced fit the music so well, I couldn't help myself." Kyung-Mi says nervously.

"Uhhh thanks I guess?" Hoseok said awkwardly. "Is that all?"

Should I ask him? Ugh screw it.

"Actually yeah, there is. My manager wanted me to do a duet with someone." Kyung-Mi began.

"Well I'm a rapper so I don't think I can help you there." Hoseok began to gather his things.

"But you're good at singing aren't you?" Kyung-Mi asked.

"I wouldn't say that Kyung-Mi." Hoseok said dabbing his towel on his forehead before putting it on his shoulder.

"Oh stop being so modest." Kyung-Mi said. If Hoseok actually did this collab she could figure out why he'd gotten so distant recently. "Can you at least think about it?"

"Sure Kyung-Mi." Hoseok says while finally leaving the room with his stuff, leaving Kyung-Mi to be the only one in the room.

"Thanks...." She says in a disappointed manner once the door closes behind him. "See you at home too I guess..."
