Several weeks passed since the day Taehyung bought her coffee.

Jennie didn't expect to be here. In an alley.

Jimin had called her in the middle of the night, stating that it was an emergency and she needed to be there straightaway.

The man had been right; BTS had gotten into another fight again with some nameless group of ragamuffins. They were most likely under Baekhyun, if Jennie assumed right from the very little she knew.

First, a knife wound. Jennie had carefully wrapped that, then helped the poor girl to the back of her car. Then when she reached the light, Jennie realized this girl was none other than Yeri.

"Girl, are you okay?" She hissed, glancing around their surroundings for anyone approaching, before helping her into a seat. "Lay back, you're going to hurt yourself if you try and sit."

Yeri winced. "They need help there. Baekhyun brought knives a-and..."

"Sh." Jennie shushed immediately, helping her take a sip of water. "You can't go back there, don't even think about it."

"B-But—"

"Doctor's orders." Jennie finished, then smiled. "Don't worry, you'll live, but you can't be moving around. I'm going to turn off this light, stay quiet. I have to go back and check up on anyone else."

Yeri sighed in response, watching Jennie leave without a further word.

Once again she was back, pressed up against the brick walls in the dark hall. She couldn't see much in contrast to the open lot where Yeri and her had just been.

These fights were unlike anything Jennie had ever read in those fiction novels. There wasn't a lot of shouting to each other, just punches and gunshots and yells of pain.

She could hear crunching of bones, slashing of lord-knows-what, and other obscene sounds of something Jennie would rather not see or imagine.

Jennie herself hadn't encountered anyone. Truth be told, she was very scared by the whole scene itself—she couldn't see much yet people were still killing and fighting.

She muffled a scream when a bullet rang past her. Jennie touched her ear.

It was bleeding.

She rolled over, pressing herself behind a dark green dumpster, not even worried about her current situation when there was a loud thump on top of the dumpster.

A man jumped down shortly after, eyeing Jennie with a malicious look.

She looked far too scared to even say anything. He pointed a gun in her face.

"Any last words Doctor?"

"Not today, bitch." She muttered under her breath, though it sounded a lot more squeaky and nerve-wrecking than she intended, it gave her a small boost of self control, Jennie was able to kick the gun out of his hand, then quickly picked it up herself. She patted him down for a knife, then found one in his pocket, snatching that out as well.

He punched her. Jennie punched him back, she was sure a bruise was already formulating on her shoulder. Luckily he had missed her jaw and hit her shoulder instead.

Jennie gripped the knife between her teeth then punched him again and again, until he slumped to the floor. She wasn't intending on doing anything more than losing consciousness, already the brutality of it all was getting to her head.

Her hands were bloody.

Suddenly there was a loud laugh, feminine too. It sounded not too far away, but still distant. Jennie recognized it.

It had to be Lisa. Who else would be laughing in such a situation? Turning to the sound, Jennie followed whatever echo she heard deeper into the alley.

She was surprised by the sudden swarm of just people laying everywhere, and all the noise and smell of fighting everywhere.

Jennie was yanked to ground immediately. JJ sighed in relief.

"Oh my god, you're alive. I was kind of worried."

"What exactly is happening?"

"V got a gift from Baekhyun, which also means 'meet up to fight'." Jisoo leaned her head back.

"This fight is pretty bad. He brought a lot of people, and it's getting ugly."

"Yeri got hurt. She's in my car."

"Good idea. We kind of need Yeri. Someone died I'm pretty sure but...that's how it goes." She smiled bitterly.

"Now this is the gore you were expecting to see, weren't you?"

"Yes." Jennie bit her lip. "How often does this happen?"

"Believe it or not," Jisoo paused, bending past Jennie to pull out her gun. On an instinct, she shot something, or rather someone from behind the wall they slumped against.

"Sorry. This usually doesn't happen all the time."

"This seems so intense." Jennie heaved an exhale. "I feel like I'm dying."

"You get used to it. Now one thing, always make sure that—"

Jennie watched someone lurk past a wall a few feet away from them. They held a long rifle in their hands, but the scene bothered her.

Why carry something that big if you were trying to shoot someone nearby?

Unless...

Jennie gasped.

"JJ, where's V?"

She shrugged. "He's all the way back the there probably dealing with Baekhyun or hiding. It's usually a good idea he stays hidden, everyone's always out to try and shoot him or something—"

Jennie gasped again, suddenly finding it hard to breath. She couldn't even process what she was doing, her hands shaking as she fumbled around with her pockets.

Jisoo frowned. "What's wrong?"

Jennie couldn't respond though, as she leveled the gun she had stolen from her previous attacker.

There was a loud bang. She screamed.

All she felt was black.
